2nd what blue did you use to paint your IG?
     Who makes that color, Is it "Horizon Blue" or such...?

They're Simon's models not mine.

He uses GW paints, so I am guessing it is one of their blues, which one I don't know.

I meant to add remember that a smaller models need a lighter blue than their bigger counterparts to look the same.

Mine are the standard GW ultramarine blue, with the troops painted similarly to Simons, at least it looks so, from the pics.

Excellent Airfix (?) French AFVs, Jimbo ! ?And your blue IG ain't too bad either, Just ! ? ? ? ?I really have no problem with the French WWI uniform blue ... HOWEVER ... as all of you know ...all my stuff is or will be in Tactical/Camo colors ! ?The SM2 color schemes were painted in circus colors to attract the kids to a wargame ! ? The SM2 era paint jobs were horrendus and a travesty ! ?IMO !?:p  ?But do what works for you ! ? :;):  I'll make fun of ya, if your stuff is painted like a circus ! :laugh:  Much of my stuff is based on WWI, WWII and current schemes ... as you know from my recent IG pics !   :cool:

I most definitely did NOT use circus colors. My IG are painted dark blue and olive drab.

L4 - I'm sorry but you have got it all wrong my friend.
The purpose of a uniform is NOT to help you hide from the enemy.
Its is the look dashing and help you woo women!

The use of exciting colours will assist one in matching one's partner for the evening, added to by all sorts of feathery and furred hats, sashes and what-not!

Dash it all man- maybe thats what you need: some nice gold lacing and a scarlet sah!  :D
