Hi everybody!

I'm a long time lurker, so I thought it was time I actually posted something.

I've just started to scratch-build some artillery, flak guns and support weapons for my Siegemasters.

I've been posting the progress HERE!

Any C&C is welcome. To be honest I don't really know just yet on how I'm going to do the artillery and flak, so any ideas would be much appreciated!

I'll try to keep you guys updated as to when I make any progress. :)

Very cute :)

Flak wise some sort of platform with a guy sitting in it and a barrel raised skyward? (Think WWII flak guns.)

Welcome to EpiComms, Stug! :cool: :D  Your scratchbuilt artillery is looking great so far - I really like the GS sculpting of the sand bags - that must have been fiddly, to say the least!

I look forward to seeing how this progresses.  Keep up the good work!

Cheers for the nice comments guys!:D

I'm hoping to get some more work done tonight, maybe finish all the support weapons and make a start on another three thudds. So thats three thudds and three rapiers done, plus another three thudds to make!

@Firestorm - the sandbags were really quite easy. Just a single sausage of GS, then score it with a wet knife.

@The_Real_Chris - Yeah, I'm hoping to make the flak guns like German WWII 88mm AAA.

@Legion 4 - There's some whole army pics further up the page showing more of the Siegfrieds and Ragnoraks. In fact if you go back to the very start of the thread (on Miniatureworld.dk) you can see my Siegemaster progress as a whole.

Nice work. I really like the bombards. I'm currently working on 6 myself. I admire your attempt to scratch build Thudds, Rapiers and AAA.  :cool:

I'm hoping I have the will power to finish all these little blighters! But every time I think otherwise, I look at the prices of the GW minis and that kinda gets me back into the mood for cutting and sticking! :80:

Right.

I made a big mistake.

I went and bought Black for my PS2.

Trouble is I've been playing it ever since so no work has been done to my beloved guns till today! How shody of me. :oops:  :down:

Anyway, here's the latest update. Worked on my Rapiers and Flak Guns.
