Tas, are you sure a basketball court would be big enough?  :D  :p

You're painter does an excellent job, P. Maybe it's just the pic, but it looked like a couple of your Basilisks have bent barrels.

I, too, believe you can never have too many super heavies!

It is not a matter of belief: It's a proven fact :D

Hi!

Like I didnt have enough of these....

Primarch

Before Mojarn sees this... :;):

Heresy! You can never have too many Super-Heavies!!! :p

As you can tell I'm firmly in his camp when it comes to armoured forces...

Looks sweet though Primarch. :D

LOL

Great minds think alike!!

It is worrying when you can see a phrase like that and instantly think of Mojarn.

Primarch- Nice pics as ever.

Cheers

James

Congrats on the new aquisitions...one day I look forward to seeing them all arrayed together for battle... on a basketball court! :p
:D

Hi!

You shall, once the IG army is done it will be showcased in its entirety.

...and yes, I'd probably need a basketball court to do it....   :;):

Great stuff, Primarch! ?A lovely selection of classic and current minis. ?You an L-4 should team up and open the world's largest Epic museum! :D

When you talk about the Epic Valhallans, it seems you're not too keen on them. ?Myself, I've grown to like them quite a lot, there seems to be quite a desire for 40k plastic Great Coat Guardsmen, as players want to make all sorts of armies from them - Valhallans, Steel legion, Krieg... ?Well, in Epic we've already got that. ?Those Epic Valhallans make great Steel Legion, Krieg, Siege Masters... ?In the future I'm going to do an AMTL army, and with a little bit of Green Stuff magic :;): ?I'll convert them to be Skitarii - Tech Guard with some Bionic augmentation.

It would be nice if there were more 'generic' Guardsmen, along the lines of the Cadians, but hey - those DRM human Infantry minis should satisfy that need!

Hi!

Your perception is partly correct. I dislike the non-generic IG becuase it forces me to use a fluff or background that I may or may not agree with. With generic IG I can call them whatever I want.

However the quality of the minis cannot be denied and I think the heavy weapon model is tops!  :8):

Hi!

Yes, the barrels were bent. The shiping process is hell on the poor minis. Lots of glue needs to be used after a routine shipment.

And yes, the painter certainly does a very good job.

I'm quite happy with him.  :8):

I guess because the 'valhallans' were my first epic guard I think of them as the 'generic' guard infantry - well equipped with codex grey great coats  :D

Cause I want to see a large and good quality of pics from that. Although you might need an aerial photographer :D.

Ready to come out of retirement (from that job) to come over. ?Lets see, I'd need 10,000feet altitude at least..... ?:oops:But don't expect to resolve Grots from wayup there.    :alien:

Some people would call that little contingent an army...  :alien:

Re Brothers Heresiarch, Dwarf Supreme and Warmaster Nice: AMEN! Nice to see I'm not the only civilised person around here.    :p

Re wargame_insomniac: It is, admittedly, quite worrying to be thinking about me.  :alien:

I like all the IG models ... I have Old Guard units (SM1&2), and E40K/E:A Vals & Cats !  At one point I thought F/W was going to do Epic Tallys ?  Would like to see those and Elysians in 6mm !  And still hoping GZG does 6mm Slammers ! I like diversity, allies, a coalition, etc. !   :D
