For what ever it's worth Doug I personally don't think bases are a huge issue here.
Depending on what game you play theres more than likely to be different basing requirements so unless you have a companion rules set coming out the bases might be superfluous... to me at least...
I'd say let people concentrate on buying minitaures from you and let them handle their own basing requirements.

Personally I prefer the bases with holes in them. However since these will almost inevitable be thicker than just a plain base there might be some issues with regards to size and weight in a blister pack.

Hi Doug,
I say sell the miniatures separately of the bases.
Make a few suggestions on your web page support site for base sources (Litko, GW, fender washers, etc.).
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

I, too, prefer having holes in the bases, but I can live without them. I'm more concerned about the minis.

I do have bases with holes in them, they arent plastic but I have them, I will just have to wait for what is said and see what happens. ?The warmaster base type was only an idea, but I would like to pass on bases with the blisters. I will have to take photos so people know what I am talking about.

Interesting question, personally I?d prefer bases in the blister (always scrounging for the blighters) but my immediate suggestion would be to package them separately, after all how many people are going to base them to match their other Epic armies, effectively wasting any that come with the blister.

GZG sell their minis with bases with holes, in metal, which are irregular shaped. Personally, I would prefer bases with holes - if I am not happy then it is not too much to fill the holes and do what I want from then.

Bases are secondary, IMO ... the figures are #1 ! Not worried about bases either way ! And Doug, just sent you an e-mail about some stuff !

Hi Guys,
It's easy to find a 1/8" inch drill bit. And then you can make holes 'till your heart's content.

Hi!
I'm indifferent with the holes in bases. Having used both, I think the flocking is more important for a good look.

They are pretty cool TS,
Some of the best Xeno infantry I have seen for sci-fi
It is my assumption that the "standard" trooper is the ones with the vase looking guns. Is that correct?
Thanks
