Hi Guys,

I used inks and washes for almost all Epic infantry.

I'll put up photos of some of my Eldar later today.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Nice work Warmaster.  :D
Meanwhile, I'm busy with my NY resolution - I did clear up my workbench, ut not by finishing everything off...
I just cleared up the mess and got the place ready for the serious business of converting a whole army - not physically, but in concept. Sorry, but it's WH Fantasy - make way for the Ice Elves.
On the Epic front, Khorne and Tzeentch are at loggerheads, each claiming my chaos troops for his own...

Anyway - here's the bench. ta-daah! :p

By the way, note the 40K DE activity to the rear; and the other black thing is an Orky Pred, which goes along with the FW gunwagon to the left. The CI is just ahead of the gunwagon, mostly out of the picture. The Epic chaos stuff was placed in the middle of the open space just after the photo - don't worry, it's not a new mess, just a single stand of Chaos Squats (thanks Bans!).

Now - anyone note the extent of the paint tide? That is, the area with lots of paint splashes and streaks to the left of the work station? That's the space I usually have available... ? ?:p

Oh dear, poor Tas, a zoom won't help, it's in full view and very clearly seen. I'm not commenting about identifyability....  :p

Have done some more work on my Ork Looted Rhino.

The top hatch has had some rivets added, as well as handles and some additional armour plates. I still need to add rivets to the hatches themselves and I will be using a smaller diameter of plastic rod to do those. A tip I picked up from George Dellapina was to put a bit of superglue somewhere and then using the point of the modelling knife pick up the individual rivet, dip it into the superglue and then stick down where you want to. Problems are that occasionally you lose one... The superglue will often harden, but this is only a crust and can be cracked allowing access to unhardened superglue. The handles are from the Ork Trukk as is the metal fuel can (yes I know great location for a tank of fuel....).

I added some metal glyphs from the Ork Wrecker Trukk and (I think an Ork Warbike Model). Also from the bike was a wrapped shotgun. I have added the doors on the right side. I added some tracks to add additional armour as well.

Chains from the Chaos Vehicle sprue were also added.

Holes were drilled in the exhaust vents.

What you can't see is the detailed interior which includes cases of ammo and orky bits and pieces on the floor. I also managed to find my Snotling models which will become grot riggers.

I do hope that Forgeworld release their version in Epic scale one day...

Nice progress, Jimbo. I'm sure it will be nice and orky when completed.
