Quote (blackhorizon @ 13 Jan. 2006 (13:36)) | Its time BFG community gets their act together and submits more articles to Warp Rift. It must be possible to get to this great level of incoming! | I agree with this 100%. I would love WR to be at this level of professionalism and content. I am happy to work on the formatting and presentation side, but we need articles desperately!

Hi Iain,
I have a painted Imperial Navy fleet that I can photograph if you'd like.

Articles are always the big problem. It is of course perfectly understandable if people prefer to submit something they've written to Fanatic instead of a mag which aren't guaranteed the same exposure as something put up on the SG site. The last couple of weeks before the deadline is always a bit frantic as Doug an I try to scrape together enough material to put out a decent sized mag. You'll probably also notice that this issue is a bit thinner than usual for that very reason.
ONe area which I'd like to see Incoming expand into is publishing more army lists. 5th Horseman's Index Astartes pretty much sums up the general idea. If people have some home made army lists they want published then we'll be more than happy to format it nicely as long as Incoming gets to publish it as well. Stuff like the Squat list, Harlequin lists, Grey Knights ect. which only stand a slim chance of ever becoming official could be published if the people behind it want to. More background info articles, house rules and scenarios would also be great.
Cheers!

Hi!
I agree articles are always a pain.
Perhaps making a theme for the e-zine and outlining it several months in advance might help?

Indeed, Primarch, that's a good idea. Gives players an idea of what to do. General articles is maybe a huge step for some people 'cause what is general?

Quote (netepic @ 13 Jan. 2006 (13:37)) | BTW chaps - what did you think of the comic? | I loved it. Especially the old Gothic class battleship. One nitpick, though, since this is Great Crusade era the marines should have mk. 6 or older armour.

We are a few pages ahead, but expect to see older armour in the rest of the comics.

Except for the Battle Report, I just finished reading the latest issue. Wow, what a great mix of articles! I really liked Mojarn's article on the Divisio Telepathica. i enjoyed the comic and look forward to seeing more of it.
A hearty "Well Done!" for all involved. Thanks for all the hard work.
