I was thinking a Stalingrad (well Nicengrad   ) style game with mostly infantry, a bit or artillery and only a few AFVs. Should be fun. To begin with it will just be used as a backdrop for some more pics for the Lounge.

If you dont have a few Titans stalking the ruins, you just aint doin' your job !  :p

LOL! :D

True. In a way I think cityfight might be interesting using some modified SM1 rules. Less troops on the table but room for more detail...

Cheers! :)

Wow, once again I see something I envy on here. Warmaster could you post a notes topic on how you built this piece. I am doing similar boards using a mixture of old epic terrain and FW buildings and it would be nice to get some advaice. Maybe it could be an incoming article.

Cheers

Sweet.

I just want to know how you did the water pouring out of the pipe.

I've always found a hot glue gun works well for this.

if you can get some glue that doesn't get whiteish then that's a great idea.
I've used curled up clear household film covered in a couple of layers of varnish. It gives a nice even transition to the canal surface.

CAL001: There's a guide on my site if you follow the links in the first post :;):

Cheers! :)

Hot glue is fantastic, especially for larger volumes of sludgy stuff as I've used on Necromunda pieces; if you are painting it it's even better as you can be a bit less careful with it, cand go for some really gloopy slime; half-immersed small beads work well as bubbles on the surface of flat slime as well. :)

I noticed this thread a bit late.  Warmaster Nice the terrain looks amazing.  Great job!  I can't wait to see a picture of the whole board set up.
