Quote (darkone26 @ 19 Dec. 2005 (18:27)) | Anyway heres a little teaser from the package I just got through this morning
 | Cool!!!
Using Epic A what would you count as? A Sentinel? I know you spoke of dedicated rules but I quite like the idea of new figures and new army lists but still using Epic A rules- my brain can only cope with so many rules system. I swear when I learn a new game that an older game gets forgotten....
Cheers

HAHA! That's exactly what I do too!
Only difference is that I try playing all the games at once... remembering nothing - ever!

Whatever you like, I guess, WI - but Sentinel would fit in spot on, I think.

PS- just seen more of Tuffskull's painted stuff on TMB website. Not a huge fan of the red basing but the paintjobs are as awesome as ever. I guess the red basing does make them look more sci-fi tahn 20c modern, which I guess is the point.
Nice work guys!!
Cheers

Quote (darkone26 @ 17 Dec. 2005 (19:10)) | Hi All,
I think with the amount of emails that Paul must be getting its about time to come clean..... ?I must confess that I wasnt expecting so much attention though I must admit I cant complain.
Over a year and a half ago some of us met at Salute 2004 and at the time I was trying to find sculpters for some work, my idea being that I would create some 6mm figures. ?So far the models have been worked on since last February and for those who were in the inner circle, I did mention it back then that I was working on stuff myself. ?So now you are seeing some of that work actually see the light of day.
Although Dark Realm minatures is starting with three races there is much more planned some items I hope Paul will show off on his website when he paints them which I will keep a secret. Although I dont like to make promises I would like to say that I hope to at least put some rules to these models though this was something slightly different from my original plan and comes as an extra bonus to what I really wanted to do.
Dont get me wrong I really like Fanatics/FW Epic models and I am sure some would agree that the efforts I go to get rare stuff for epic would back up my support for any 6mm minis that Fanatic care to release as well as what they have done in the past.
My personal goal was to try and keep that 6mm torch going and bring out some cool minis and put some smiles on peoples faces. ?I dont expect that everyone will like everything I try to release but that wont stop me trying.
So there you have it, now you know who it is and I am sure I am on the inquisitions hit list now but I only mean well. ?For those of you wanting to know about prices, they will not be expensive at all, at least I will promise that it will not break the bank and I will try to ensure that quality is as good as I can get it. ?
The website along with my own will be up in the coming week because I dont want to cramp Paul's style as he has done some excellent work and for now I prefer the spotlight on his site ? ?
As soon as I feel that Paul has shown as many pictures as he can before Christmas I will put mine up for the whole thing. ?There is a lot to do but at least you all know. ?Thanks Paul for taking the brunt of it all, I clearly underestimated people's reactions, so much for taking things slowly!
Doug | Hi Doug,
I'm very happy for you and wish you all the best.
I am irked that I was left out though especially since I'm mates with all of you and could have helped out. I also sculpt.
I also additionally write rules...
*** Did you hear about the game I'm working on, Doug? ***
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Start saving your $$$ Boyz - DRM in Jan., G/W F/Orks in Feb. !!! I wouldn't be "miffed" Maksim, I feel like Doug, you are very busy with your innovative rule set. Plus I feel all 6mm rules/models (DRM, G/W, F/W, GZG, Old Crow, GHQ(!?), etc.) compliment each other ... like a BIG no ... HUGH Buffet !!!
