Hi, I have a problem. I ordered several minis from Forgeworld, when I received them ,I controlled the packs and there were some model parts missing, broken and/or miscast. So what do I have to do to get replacement? Is there replacement at all? So far wrote 2 E-mails to them and still got no answer. E-mails regarding delay of shipment were answered almost in about 20 minutes. What am I doing wrong?
Cheers! Steele

First of all be polite in your e-mails. Unfortunately that's not always enough. Often you'll get your replacements free of charge but I've also experienced trolls who wanted me to return the goods at myy own expense (really annoying when you live overseas!). I think it is important to remember that FW are in the middle of their christmas sales so they'll probably be giving priority to new orders. Try writing them a mail once a week. However don't be surprised if you don't get a reply untill January.
Cheers!

Yes, politeness is my second name... Well , if I had simply to wait, ...then I wait.
Thanks.

Hi!
While expensive they have been pretty diligent with making up for mistakes or misscasts. Give them time.

I have had 2 FW experiences with miscasts and damages. In both cases they promptly supplied replacements free of charge.

Miscasts and mistakes they've fixed for me.
However, when half of the hull lascannon barrels of my Leman Russ variants were snapped they refused to send replacements saying me some polite equivalent of "tough luck". Guess whether I ordered any more Russes from them. I mean, if they're incapable of packing things so they don't break...

I was lucky too, with a missing Hive Node. The original, for some strange reason, eventually arrived several months after the replacement. I offered to pay for it, but they very nicely refused and told me to keep it as well, as a sort of bonus for my trouble with the order. Very, very nice of them

Good to hear that from you all. My problems encompass Parts of 4 different packs : 1 Basilisk main Gun is broken, 1 Vulture rear part is broken and a landing gear is missing, 1 entire weapon set of 1 hydra is missing and finally from a reaver 1 weapon arm is missing and the other arm is miscast. That completes 4 units that I cannot build/field until cleared what to do. But if you say that they are going to replace in most cases. Fine. Thanks again.

In one of my FW EA Tau orders, I had a single Stealthsuit without a head. I felt slightly embarrased to call them about it (one Epic guy) but I had it all mathematically worked out.
Anyway, I called them up yesterday and they were great. They even asked which specific one I wanted as a replacement. In fact, although my initial order took almost two weeks, and I called them at lunch yesterday, the replacement was waiting for me today!!!
It did still arrive in the A5 sized box, which seemed a bit of overkill. They also replaced the turrets of some Hammerheads in a previous order very easily. I would suggest that you give them a call and they will usually sort it out. The extra parts come from a different location but it works fine.

Well ,you guys may have an advantage , it?s your native tongue. But mine is german, although writing is not a big problem, continuously speaking WITH sense is my real problem, as I often get stuck in mid phrase searching for the right words. So I have to find someone who is able to speak free. But thanks again.

FW have been good with me even when I have phoned regarding an order that was sent a few months before.
They make sure the package is with me next day in though its Munich. I dont normally check out the pieces in the bag til I paint them but I do now. Its kinda embarrassing to phone a few times when I should have looked at the time of delivery. They have always looked after me. I would wait just a few days before writing again.

Sad news for me, better say , no news for me. Today I received an automated response from the E-mail Server that my Mail has been deleted without even beeing read. I wrote another one, that it can?t be impossible for Mr Kirkham to give a quick reply what can or can not happen. Even SG sent replacements of 1 Vulture Body ,which was missing in my last Order, with a COMPLETE Blister of 4 Vultures, took them 10 days, but hey, like you guys said - call them. I called , they sent. With Forgeworld is another problem: During my Office Hours I can?t grab my Phone and call Great Britain, my Boss would ask me - who?s to pay the Bill. And after me beeing at home nobody at Forgeworld attends the Phone. So I am obliged to E-Mail them and hope the best.
Cheers! Steele

Hi, very Good News, finally Forgeworld announced that they will replace those Minis. Part of the problem for taking so long seems to be that my E-Mails which I sent online didn?t arrive at them. So it was mere coincidence that I lastly wrote to them using my office account. Maybe Santa himself was involved....
Cheers & Merry Christmas to all of You!
