Competion is hotting up in the titan catagory and theres only two entries......so far.

Nice Warhound mageboltrat, im intending doing my plasma coils in the same fashion. I just gotta do two things. Get the crappy paint job that that they currantly have off, and deside what scheme i do want.

Thanks a lot. :) . I'm also really hoping that there are lots of entries with cool ideas I can snaffle.

BTW The eldar battleforce pic is a tiny bit large for the comp. Though it does look very nice. The extreme highlights work really nice with the lighting.

We have this discussion a few years ago when I ran the painting comp.

Rather than reiterate the issues again, I refer you to the old threads and suggest that it was dropped for good reason

thanks
Tas :)

Thanks Doc,
it's a sequence of drybrushing, but I first undercoated in white, with the wing ends undercoated with a very bright green. I undercoated several layers of greens and sands, to give the shading, applied my omnipresent flesh wash, and then drybrushed again with (of all things) pale flesh, with a heavy drybrush at the leading edges. I don't paint well - I just apply a lot of trickery with washes and drybrushing and my new whitewash technique (see ToEG1)  :alien:

I think you should. :;):  Get those brushes out and finish your Ork CI

Vanvlak: Love the titan. Those weapons look extremely scary: What are they made from? I think I might have to borrow a few ideas for my take on a Divisio Investigatus titan. :;):

Cheers! :)

Heh  - an enginseer's entitled to a few secrets, eh?  :p  :alien:

Nah, they're just (front) naval model brass cannons, cheaper than I ever expected them to be and (rear) tooth filling material containers from the dentist  :D

Only trouble is that thing blows itself a couple of hundred metres backwards when it fires its main weapons....

vanvlak do you have whole model development department to yourself or is it just you have limitless imagination. the amount of models you churn out rivals some of the larger forgeworlds.
:D

 Aww, thanks doc, but no monopoly here - check out Warmasters work; the Nurgle Titans currently on show; the Nids Ragnarok's just posted... so many! I'm just an opportunistic enginseer with a reasonable number of bits of models to bang together until they fit.    :alien:

Thanks Warmaster - full blown Nec army - sigh - when I find a troop type I'm happy with.... I can mess around and come up with tanks and big stuff, and the Destroyers are ok if I get enough 40K Scarabs. But I only have very, very few Chaos Androids....
