Allrigth this has been nagging me for quite some time now....
A couple of days ago Forge World released the Epic Nightwings. Yay! I thought and went to the Online store to order a pair or two. That's when I noticed that Forge Owrld has changed their shipping cost procedure.
Insterad of the usual 10 or 12% of the order total you are ow charged a flat ?12 for all orders ...unless you order over ?100 worth of stuff in which case shipping is free....
Basically I think it is ridiculous. I want those Nightwings but there's just no way that I'm going to pay ?12 S/H for it.
Add to that the price hike which brings the Epic Cathedral up to ?75 instead of the usual ?60 and I think the flow of cash from my wallet to Forge World has been closed for now.
Cheers!

Agreed, that is ridiculous. I like FW's stuff, but it's because of the prices that I never buy anything from them. A flat rate for shipping is silly. I guess FW is trying to encourage shoppers to buy en masse to save shipping.

What?!?
Insanity... who votes for a quick email protest campaign- doubtful that any notice will be taken, but it would be worth a try surely?

I dont completely understand. The FW web site still states that it charges 10% or 12% for shipping, with a minimum order of ten pounds.
Either this was a mistake, or they have changed back quickly. Twelve pounds for shipping is crazy for Epic or Gothic stuff.

Try putting a few things in your shopping cart and view the price total. This is for shipping to Denmark mind you so it could still be 10-12% for UK buyers. However AFAIK international buyers has always been charged the same 10-12% as anybody else so I'm quite surprised by this change. Someone on the SG forum also pointed out this problem.
Cheers!

Yes, just checked. UK buyers still only pay the 10%. I wonder if shipping international orders below ?100 just isn't profitable enough...

Hi!
I noticed this when I went to order the new models. The price is ridiculous.
I wont order anything until they have released enough models to make such an order cost effective.

It looks as though it must have been some sort of an error. At least shipping prices are back to normal now.
Cheers!
