Hi!
From what I gather from retailers and distributors, this game is red HOT. Big sales and they dont seem to be slacking. While lack of stock hurts in some cases. In others it seems to make people want it more (you know the old "I want it because I can have it deal).
I agree with Maksim that their parts for converting titans would be very good indeed.

The interesting thing is that the miniatures have also hit it big on the painting scene. Usually these kind of models get ignored by the big name painters in favour of more classic Fantasy style figs, but I think having the originals painted by McVey have bought them more into the lime light.
If what you say is true (and I'm certainly not doubting it) about all the extra depth in the full game rules etc, then combined with the comotion the minis are creating, I really think they're onto a winner.

Yep, when it was first out a month or so ago, I remember taking a look at the official site and thinking how cool the minis looked; personally I like the normal human sized models the best, just all superb stuff! Looks like GW should have kept Mr McVey around for a bit longer.....

Hi!
The prime rulebook has the stats for the additonal units each faction has, they are pretty colorful. They only mention a few warcasters in the demo, the full rulebook lists more, as well as the mercenaries and additional warjacks.
They have been blessed with a good set of rules, nice minis and a very warm reception.
Hopefully they wont screw the pooch.....

I must say I did want to buy a couple even if I do not play the game. They are some nice looking minis.

Hi!
One thing that has been commented on other forums regarding Warmachine is that the minis actually LOOK like the concept art. A trivial thing, but very few sculptors can recreated what the promo department has "promised" via concept art. Many times the minis fall short and are a let down. I have yet to see a warmachine mini I haven't liked.

I may be wrong in this, but it could well be that a lot of them were sculpted _before_ the artwork was done & thus the art was effectively using the miniatures as their reference to base the pics on and not vice versa as usually happens.
I know McVey said that he was on the original team for the game & had a lot of the miniatures made at least in base form relatively quickly from the outset. It would make sense, though I am just putting 2 and 2 together to make 22.

The local store just got in some of the blisters. I'll have to go by and pick a couple up. Just to have some

Hi!
That may be the case Tuff, and if it is, more kudos for them, since that is a pretty slick move to sculpt first then release the concept art once you have the minis already.
Not a bad ploy.
I got to make a order for some of those minis.
