That's what I wanted to ask. I remember seeing an 15mm OGRE wargaming site somewhere but IIRC there were no mention of the OGREs being available for sale anywhere. I guess they were scratch-built.

And yes, that is a Mk.3.

This "Home Kit" was on a very limited availability. 11 kits to be exact.

The person made it for themselves and his game group. He offered a few out to the net. I bought it to have something cool and loved OGREs anyway.

It is not for sale right now and I do not know if he will ever make it for sale again.

As the others have said, it is a Mk. III. In the 6mm scale versions from SJGs the largest is the Mk. VI and it would be quite large in 15mm.

As it is, this is slightly out of scale because he took measurements off the minis and I do not think they are to scale with the vehicles and troops. But who cares, it is still the center piece of my 15mm forces. ?

Ugly beast that she is. I still love her. ?

I assume you mean 6mm Mk VI from Steve Jackson Games:

It is $20 USD

It is 3 5/8 inches long and 1 7/8 inches wide. The chassis stands 15/16 of an inch tall (the tower adds an additional inch).

If you want one, go to Steve Jackson Games and they sell this mini only from their mail order site.

I need to buy the Hammer's game books (the second one when it comes out). I own the whole book set, in fact I own two versions of the first book (one with and one without the Tank Lords Story in it).

Me too !  Pt.2 "Hammer's Anvil" comes out in early '06 !  I really like series, and will probably buy the Hardbound Compilation, we mentioned on the Suggested Reading thread ... already saw it can be pre-ordered !
