The attachments folder should be recoverable. I will try to copy the images across and take it from there. I will look at this next week and let you know.

Hi Iain and Gang,

By "restore," I mean I had to re-establish my account then and had to do it today again. It would not recognize my password so I had to have Ikonboard send me my "temporary" password and "restore" my account. I don't know why it doesn't want to recognize my password or leave a cookie so I can forget about passwords. My security protocol isn't set so high as to reject all cookies and it worked before.

My photo was nuked and my sig seems to also have not made the transition. It was causing problems for Jimbo when he viewed it.

But, I sure do appreciate having the site back, Iain. I'm only mentioning the problems so they can be dealt with in your good time... no rush, mate!

Maksim, thanks. Your avatar should be restored when I transfer the avatar folder back to the boards (as early as I can next week). Your profile pic may also reappear when the attachments folder is also returned (ibid). Please let me know if your profile pic is not returned, as I am sure that it is in a folder that I have stored somewhere.

I am not sure about the sig lines... do other people have the same problem, or have their sigs been transferred? Also, do other people also have the problem with their password?

Maksim, your password should not be a cookie problem, as it is a question of the correct password, not just remembering it. This is an interesting thing. Let me think about it.

The new posts link is working per visit, but does not automatically update as new posts are added as it did before.

This means you need to leave EpiComms to see if there are any new posts since you started browsing the forums. Before you could click new posts to see who was posting as you read.

A question: Are you going to reinstate the old skins or will we continue to use this one? If is is it possible to change the text colour of some of the old threads. The current ones seem to get light grey which is a bit difficult to read. Strange since all new posts are in a nice black...
