In My War Room, :D I've been reorganizing my Imp. and Traitor SM TO&Es and forces based on some interaction with Tas.  Once I did a review, saw some ways to make the units more to my liking ! :)

Finished some scratch built Gunfortresses along with some Spleenrippas and Bonecrunchas. They won't win any Golden Demons but for Gaming purposes the'll probably do just fine.




...I also constructed a couple of Death Wheels for my Black Legion.

Don't you just hate it when someone casually throws off a remark like the above one while showing you pics of miniatures built, converted and painted to a standard you can only dream of?  :angry:  :angry:  :angry:

Wowsers! Just beautiful!

I see that you built your DeathWheels using Ork turrets (instead of the "Rare-as-Hens-Teeth"
Chaos LandRaider turrets). Why the didn't I think of that!?!? :(

Could you post more pictures of them showing those turrets in better detail? Pretty-please? :)

Oh yeah... the Orky vehicles are really impressive, too. I'm just in a
Chaos-fixated mood now! ;)

Sure thing Larry.

The main objective I had when building these models was that they should be kept simple so I've only used bitz from the Chaos vehicle accessory spure + the Ork autocannon turrets. I cant remember who used the regular Battlecannon turret but that's the inspiration. I only thought that that turret was a little bit too easily recognizable.

Basically the list of components boils down to:
1 track spure
2 40mm rounds slottabases
2 hatch coupolas (any will do)
2 hatches (again any will do)
2 daemonic "gun" heads
2 spikey arches (again any will do - remember to remove any skulls and other scale giveaways)
2 Autocannons
2 bitz of tank track

I'll post a few pics tomorrow.

I've started a photoblog of my conversion of two E40k-era EoV's into StormSerps.
I've added comments to each of the picts. Feel free to post comments either here or
on the photoblog (I've left it unlocked).

I've only started but I'm pretty confident that this'll be cool... :)

Oh yeah - if anyone could help me out, I need a second Scorpion
Pulse-Laser turret! :( I only have one PLaser and two ShuriCannon turrets.
