Has progress on this list stalled?

Doesn't seem to be any activity really.

Not compared to the old forum anyway.

I dont think it has entirely stalled but it is at a crawl compared to the old forums, it is an unfortunate consequence of GWs mishandling of the Specialist Games forums and their customer base/ Hobbyists.
In spite of this I really hope we can carry on and get the list finished out and smooth some more of its rougher edges. I think alot of good work has already went into the list.

It's also a consequence of me having to retake some exams, meaning my attention has been, shall we say, diverted

I don't think you can call it "stalled" considering the pace at which it was progressing previously.

What has really happened is that all the heated "ad infinitum" arguments have gone away. While there is less visible activity, most of that activity was unproductive anyway. In other words, it's only the appearance that progress has slowed.

None of that is meant to denigrate anyone's participation. It's just that there is little room for compromise in many of the expressed opinions. Despite that, Dysartes has been doing a good job threading his way through a working middle ground.

I also think that it must be difficult for the various army champions to gather the enthusiasm right now. With the way that things have been handled, and the uncertain future, and the lessons of history, I am finding it difficult to put my thoughts to beginning a new army or getting momentum going. I can imagine that this is worse for ALL of the army champions.

Um... yep. That's pretty much the size of it. The bad news for EA has been steady and increasing in volume and, imho, stems almost entirely from a lack of support from SG/GW.

Yeah. I haven't posted on (or even looked at) the new forums since they closed the old, separate, SG forums. I really would like to see some more comments on the Dark Angels and Space Wolves lists that I created, but it seems that if I post them on the SG site they'll just get lost in the clutter of the general section.

Any local takers (they're for Epic: Armageddon, not the previous versions, sorry guys)?

You could post them here. You're more likely to get a response here than on the SG forum. I'm certainly all for having a list for each major SM chapter, especially for a chapter like the Space Wolves which has lots of character.
