Is there any timeframe for when the new-and-improved tL&D list is being released? I'd really like to get back to playtesting them.

Wraeththu may correct me, but I'd say not until the summoning overhaul is completed. As far as I know, that should be finalized soon, possibly in the next week.
It will probably, therefore, be 3-4 weeks before the L&D and BL lists are released but that's just a guess.

Wraeththu did release a list with the combined cult/traitor coven formations not too long ago. That's certainly enough to test the structure if not the summoning specifically.

Yes there is a link below to the thread that has most of the major changes shown in v2.5. I have been waiting to release v3.0 of the list since we have not completely sorted out the summoning rules. But Neal is probably right on the rough estimate of 3-4 weeks.
