This really is very good! ?

I must admit that I had a similar idea to convert an Imperator to make it look like it's a similar pattern to the current Warlord Titan... unfortunately, I don't think I'd ever be able to afford one the rate the sell for nowadays! ?

Well, we now ahve the identity for the Titan - the Imperious Cathedra, an Emperor-class Titan known to have fought during the Horus Heresy......

Hey Dysartes, I believe you outbid me today on ebay for 3 Knights Errant! No hard feelings, I'll happily let you have them seeing as you're the AMTL Army champion and all! :;):

That, and the fact I've just got 12 Knights Palladin from there which I'm not sure what I'm going to do with...

I'm thinking of e-mailing Forge World and asking if they'd start making the Imperator Titan model again (or a remodelled variant along the lines of the one your very talented house mate's doing!)... I wonder how that'll go down?!? (perhaps if I grovel a bit... :laugh:

WEll, I've emailled Forge World in the past asking if they'd consider doing a Lucius pattern Imperator, but never had a reply.

Maybe a concentrated email campaign.

My apologies about outbidding you, firestorm, I didn't know what your handle on eBay was - have you posted it in the appropriate thread on the Trades board?

And, just to keep y'all happy, a couple of other things my housemate has been working on recently.

A basic command squad, still WIP, awaiting some more detail work on the banners and shoulder pads (such as the chapter symbol, for instance)

One quarter of his Terminator formation, converted to have the two assault cannons, so the stand reflects the in-game stats.

I appear to have started to get the guy hooked on Epic.

Unfortunately, he's got very good at working at the scale, very quickly......

Having seen Lextar's work in converting the Tactical marines to resemble the current jump-packs, Ahmed decided to do it himself, sculpting the jump-packs from Green Stuff.

As his 3000pts SM force is meant to resemble the forces left behind on Ultramar during the invasion of Hive Fleet Behemoth, there was a slight problem - 10 marines that couldn't be explained away as being part of a reserve company. Ah well - insert DEathwatch Kill Team here - including sculpted heavy bolter.....
