Nice work Jaldon.:)

And i'm amazed that anyone thought that SPI's Grenadier was good enough to use as a set of wargame rules.:O
They were dreadful.

It reminded me of when i started gaming back in the late Seventies.WRG Ancients and SPI Prestags....and D+D.

Aye...i'm old.:D

Wargame rules have definately got simpler over the years , look at fire and Fury for ACW , or Spearhead for WW2 and Modern. And as for Skirmish ,  Red Poppy- White Feather with its unusual initiative system is outstanding.

And my only criticism Jaldon, is you should have sold your SPI online to guys who like that kind of game.  And use the $$$ to buy Epic !
End Quote

I didn't throw out all my SPI stuff, I still have the first six S&T mags, you know the ones with the 'Siege of Kronstadt" in them and the pretty neat skirmish game Redmond and Simenson dreamed up. Blitz Mod, CA, USN (but I still don't know why I keep it), a playtest version of Tannenburg with the playtest module planned for 1914 both of which were a real good system before Dunnigan 'fixed' them, The East is Red, Invasion America, and Terrible Swift Sword.

Jaldon's Most Notable Door Stops via SPI: the Central Front Series, A Bridge To Far (I think).

I am almost afraid to post when I was in, you guys might begin to believe I am a senile old man and stop answering my posts:p

Thanks for all the kind words people.

Jaldon:O

We will keep it easy, without revealing any real detailed information, just take this simple quiz.

(1) If your age has two numbers in it you qualify.

(2) If the first number in your age is a five or better you qualify.

(3) If the second number in your age is five or less you qualify.

(4) If you beat both #2 and #3 you win.

We cannot use kids ages as a guide as some of us never got married, while the other extremists never stopped having kids (like me they range in age from thirty to twelve :p )
