Hi!

They pop up on e-bay from time to time, although currently the prices are abit rich.

For some reason this is the most common OOP epic model I have found in hobby stores as I have moved around in the last ten years. I always seem to find one in a bargain bin. Then again its been 4 years since the last "find" so things may have dried up.

We use mostly the SM1 rules for tunnelers and as Primarch noted ... a Hellbore can do a Hell of a lot of damage !:;):

Hi, just got myself some ork spues at a bring and buy along with a few squigoths and orkesaurus(4). Seems a good idea to collect a Feral ork army, but I have not had much dealings with any type of orks.  Can any of you give me some advice please.  My idea is to collect some more beasts and try to limit the modern vehicle.  Also would Feral orks have Gargants? if not, how could I replace that kind of strength and firepower?  Thanks, Martin :blues:

The rules and lists for Feral Orks can be found in the Swordwind supplement.

Feral Orks do have Junkatrukks and Steam Gargants as well as some other vehicles.

THe Swordwind Supplement has all that data. NEw models include a Steam Gargant, Junka Trukks, Squig Katapult, and the Orkesoarus (sp.?). And maybe F/Ork Infantry ? ?But those won't be out until Aug.  Jimbo beat me to it ! :;):

Hi, thanks for your replies.  I was looking for some tips, some army composition hints from experienced players.  I have played a lot of Space Marine and Eldar but never ork and have only had one game against orks, so do not have any idea about them apart from what is on the book. Maybe to start with it might be better to have a standard ork army with say a Feral ork warband and see how that goes.

Yep, good point.  I organize my Orks, and most of my 9 Epic Armies, by SM1 standards. That's when we started "Epicing".  We like the system.  But I suggest get Swordwind and wait a couple of months for the F/Ork models !    :D

You use those old regimental organisation charts from the heresy Legion 4?

Yes Sir, we do, with some modifications plus some SM2 and E40K concepts also ... Doug, if he can will post examples of some of our/my Eldar, IG and Chaos ... ?:D ?As others have asked previously ! :;): However, the Tau and 'Nids are WIP as are their rules. ?But for the most part, our SMs, Traitor SMs, IG, Orks, Eldar, Squats, Chaos/Cultist and Titan Legions are "pretty" solid.
