We did too ... as a former Grunt it made too much sense and was "realistic".

Remember, this 'house' rule would only be for infantry formations without any shooting attacks, ie, assault formations. The situation that brought the whole discussion about was a formation of Eldar facing Tyranids who went into overwatch. The game bogged when we didnt know what to do about that. The Eldar, as I have said in other posts, do not seem to be a very good opponent for the nids, as the infantry formations wanted to engage (BAD BAD IDEA vs Nids!)and the armor wanted to simply pop up and shoot. Anyhow, this house rule would give Eldar some chance at survival vs nids. Maybe we will restrict its use to Eldar only, don't know.
my 2cents,

Well bottom line, as in SM1, Infantry stands on First Fire/Overwatch should get a cover bonus ... of some sort ...

Hi, how do I find a list for Tyrannids? I have just managed to find some figures and would like to download an army list but GW seem to have messed this up now. In fact, how do I find any of the lists that were on the GW Epic site? Thanks, Martin

Hi Johnny Rico, try this thread: EpiComms ? Epic Armageddon Focus HQ ? EA Tyranids ? LISTS: Tyranid Army List v5.40B pdf - the first page has the link (I'm trying to avoid deep linking, hence the lack of a direct link). cheers

Also, I believe that the lists will be appearing on the new SG site gradually. So you may have to wait, but they should all come back to us.

Maksim was meant to send a new list in but I am not sure if this was done or if it was if it happened when they were putting up the new site. Maksim can verify that info. I'm assuming that he sent it in but it got lost in the shuffle as they were getting the new site ready.
As it currently stands Andy Hall has to approve all the material on the site and he is on vaction for two weeks so I'd grab the list from the topic here at Epicomms for now.

Hi Guys,
I have E-mailed the 'Nid playtest lists to Jervis and company consistently with every update. They have a copy of every playtest list to the present one. They simply chose not to upload them so I made them availible from Epicarmycard.com with the help of my friend who runs that site.
Here is a link to that site:
http://home.comcast.net/~epicarmycard/M ... e/Main.htm
I understand that the lack of updates was due to the new site being designed... either way, none of my updated playtest lists have been uploaded for months.
The version 3.0 playtest list is one written by Jervis and not me.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

MaksimSmelchak your current list is great. Also the upgrades seem to be working much better.
