Ships company will fall in by Divisions and stand-by to Cheer Ship...

Great stuff CC! The weathering effects on the wooden decks and superstructure look fantastic and you've really captured that GHQ detail very well.

My only suggestions at this point would be to model the water and add labels like your friend has. ?There are some nice White Ensign graphics on the web if you want to add those too (lemme know if you need some)

Great stuff and congrats again - they look superb! :D

WOW! That settles it! I'm getting myself some new toys!
I have a thing for WW2 German ship designs... But the Royal Navy is pretty cool too.

Great work CC. And the bases look terrific too!

Cheers! :)

Thanks guys greatly apreciated.

Tas,

No worries I intend to do the water and lanels as my friends has done.  The water just takes a real long time to dry so I think I'm going to paint the whole squadron before doing all the labels and water at one go.

Warmaster Nice,

If anyone would be interested in a blow by blow painting tutorial please let me know.

Thanks again.

Hey guys just to say I'm not ignoring you.

My home computer is down so I can't upload pics. ?

Will be fixed in two weeks when the main floor of the house is re-assembled. ?

In the mean time HMS Lion is ready for war.

Ah but the dinning room table is also gone.  We are putting in hard wood flooring to replace the carpet.  So no place to paint... :{

At least I'm on track...3 ships out of eleven is pretty good for me considering how recent was the purchase.

HMS Princess Royal has just slipped the dry docks and is Joining her Squadron.

Tas,

It's a shame but the BattleCruiser HMS Australia was in dry dock during the battle of Jutland

She missed this fight but this is her squadron.
