There has been renewed discussion about hosting pictures. Therefore, with a certain amount of trepidation, I have unlocked the ability to upload pictures on ALL the boards here.
I hope that this will encourage more display of Epic and Gothic miniatures. However, I will just say that this is a trial period. If things get too expensive, I may be forced to either consider advertising (shudder), or limit the post of pictures.

Thank You. I believe we also need to keep the picture uploads to subject matter and use links for the Off Topic stuff to help with this.
Yes, I know I am guilty of the Off Topic Photos myself, going forward I will restrain myself.

Thank you CS. However to make more space available to other and keep costs down I will still upload to my site and link it. I would encourage those with similar access to do the same and leave CS gracious offer to those who really need to use it.

One question: are "recon reports" allowed in the general discussion board if there are no minipics? Like the report from Crete I was supposed to do. Or, say, if I went to the local museum of artillery?
Just asking so I get to know "da roolz".
One possibility would, of course, be to delete such reports after a short time so they don't take up all the storage space in the long run.

No problem. The picture feature is there to be used. The storage issue is not such a problem, and the bandwidth issue is larger. But, recon pictures are welcomed. In fact guys, go ahead and use this feature for whatever you like. If people have their own web space for hosting and can use that, then it may take the strain off, but dont make a big deal over until we can see how it all works out.

I should also add that I have expanded the options for uploading to also include PDF files. However, be aware that these may be large files and take some time to upload/download.
