One of the bets videos I have seen of this type is a Crarier flight deck guy who gets sucked INTO the jet intake of an A6 INTRUDER as he stands up in front of it.   His helmet was too large a diameter to go through so his head wedged in the intake BEFORE it got to the turbine fans so he was unharmed....amazing!

Ouch!  :O  I bet he was very quiet for a long time.

I have somewhere a video clip where a helicopter does mid-air refueling. The pilot somehow manages to turn the nose up and the rotor cuts the fuel line.  :o

One day I'll tell you about the time I saw Filfla coming at my head...  :( A helicopter and a Cessna and a bunch of Italians were involved.

Oh yeah - that's the name of an minute island in the Maltese archipelago.

I have one where the air gap (which I was standing in) between a Frigate's helicopter deck and the helicopter was reduced to about 3 feet...

No Italians or Cessnas though... :p

Sorry to disappoint ( :p ) , but no fireball; I guess the pilot got lucky and there was no spark. But it still looks nasty.  :oo

You mean the Helicopter blades were within three feet of the deck you were standing on?  :o    :oo

I do want to hear that one.

Glad you were not hurt.   :D
