Hola,

I just recently completed a move and it helped me clean out a lot of poo I didn't know I still had or simply had to get rid of. I packed all my gaming stuff up nice and since my new place is bigger with a few walk in closets, I am able to organize everything like never before. When I sit in the closet and look at all the shelf space my gaming stuff takes up, it is pretty sick. Here's a run down off all that I've got:

*Adeptus Titanicus
*Space Marine
*Epic Space Marine
*Titan Legions
*Epic 40k (2 box sets)
(and of course, enough minis to make huge armies for each race that appears in each of the systems above. . .)
*Man O' War, Sea of Blood, and Plague Fleet
*Warhammer Quest with Catacombs of Terror
*Mordheim (with an extra set of the terrain set, Witchhunters, Undead, and the warband that has the Possessed guy. . . it's my favorite and I forgot the name)
*Warhammer 6th Edition (Empire and Orc armies)
*Warmaster (Empire and Orc armies)
*Blood Bowl (latest version)
*Battlefleet Gothic
*40k 2nd Edition with Dark Millenium
*40k 3rd Edition (3 box sets believe it or not - I got a great Ebay deal, with armies for the Ultramarines, Dark Eldar, and Eldar)
*40k Battle of MacRagge
*Lord of the Rings (Fellowship and ROTK sets with extra minis)
*Warzone 2nd Edition with Illyan, Imperial, and Bauhaus armies)
*Void 1.1 with ALL the armies (but LOTS for the Junkers and Virdian - but none of those stupid dinosaurs!)
*Warlord
*GROPOS
*Rebellion
*Dougram Battle of Stanrey and Kalnock (you guys probably don't know these, but they are what inspired Battletech)
*Marvel HeroClix
*MechWarrior
*Pirates of the Spanish Main
*Noble Armada
*Silent Death

and God there might be a few more I am leaving out, oh! Space Hulk 2nd Edition. But with all these games I've listed above, guess what I am playing more than anything else???

Star Wars Miniatures.

Why? Well, I guess because it is so freakin easy to set up and play, and since the minis don't require painting, everything is ready right out of the box. I am not crazy about shopping for Booster Packs, so I buy the minis I want 2nd hand. Plus it's Star Wars!!! What's better than Han Solo and Chewy blowing up Storm Troopers??? Nothing! And Darth Vader kicks some serious ass.

Star Wars Rebellion came with a lame paper map, but Revenge of the Sith comes with a great fold-out cardboard board that is excellent to play on. Download some scenerios online and let the battle begin.

Sure it eventually will lose it's novelty, but the mechanics and variations in the characters does make things interesting. It's far better a 'Beer and Pretzels' game than 90% of the games I listed above. I love Man O' War, Warhammer Quest, Epic, Mordheim and Warmaster, but I have lost been spoiled with how everything fits in a box like Star Wars does. . . geez, the thought of setting up an SM2/TL game right now is making my stomach turn. . .

So that is what I am doing. What are you guys playing and why?

Since when did the word 'C R A P' become so offensive that the editor has to replace it with 'Poo?'

Aren't we freakin adults here??

Hi!

Currently, D&D. My old gaming buddy for minis seems to have gotten "lost" again, so no more minis games for me. At least for now.

Gandalf:  I believe it is a cultural difference.  Apparently, it's considered more vulgar across the pond.

Well, the most recent thing resembling a mini game was a game of "Pirates of the Spanish Main" with my two kids. I'm going to do more of that during my holidays.

But the lack of opponents hasn't stopped my quest for the holy grail and I just ordered 10 mini-game rulesets more.

Things I ordered:
-Rapid Fire! (this game has been receiving a lot of flak for being too simplistic. I hope it is true as I plan to introduce a few of my friends to the joys of mini-gaming with this one).
-Battlegroup Panzer Grenadier
-Sea Wars fleet actions (all this talk about WWI sea battles made me realise that I don't own a single naval wargame save Man O'War (!) :O )
-Saurian Safari (you need to start from somewhere with the young 'uns  }:)  )
-Disposable heroes
-Ranke & Vyle (I already have Flintloque and Slaughterloo)
-Strange Tydes (a fantasy naval game with dwarven steamships. I intend to compare it with Man O'War)
-HOTT 2.0 (I just had to get a look at this one)
-Operation Overlord book pack (C'mon, I'm a tank modeler and a mini gamer. How could I pass on this one? Got to see if they've succeeded.)
-Forgotten Battles (a scenario book for Spear Head)
-Battlefront

And since we seem to be studying vulgar words, here's what S**t is in Finnish: Paska.

No chance of the script censoring that.  }:)

Yeah lets bring c rap back. I find its replacement more offensive.
