Hey frogbear, although I've not play tested this list, I've managed to read through the latest versions (Post-Heresy & post-Skalathrax), and have a couple of things to say.
Firstly, as I assembled my World Eaters force using Lord I's initial WE list, I have two formations of Berzerkers, so if I were to use either of yours it'd be the Post-Heresy one.
My army list is this:
World Eaters Terminators (w/Daemon Prince, Skull Bearer, Skull Champion, Teleport)
Berzerker Retinue (w/Skull Bearer, Skull Champion, Daemonic Pact, Rhinos)
Berzerker Retinue (w/Skull Bearer, Skull Champion, Daemonic Pact, Rhinos)
Daemon Pool - 16x Lesser Daemons, 1x Greater Daemons
Khorne Juggernauts x8
Now, as I say I put the list together originally using Lord I's list so I also have:
World Eaters Armoured Company (6 Preds, 2 Land Raiders)
But as you've dropped this from the list, and I've got some of Apocolocyntosis' Cutlery Monsters

I can add some Blood Slaughterers and Preds as upgrades to the list (exchanging them for the Chamions, perhaps), but would prefer to field them as a formation on their own (àla the Red Corsairs list). However, it seems you're likely to add Greater Brass Scorpions to this list, and I may in the future be able to add one of these...
So why not still have an Armoured Company, limited to 0-1 as a support option?
Secondly, I know that a number of people have pointed out that this army suffers from fewer activations than other armies - if I take the list above, for example, tweaking it a bit and adding things (e.g. Greater Brass Scorp, Hell Talons), I'd still ony have 7 or 8 activations in a standard 3,000 point list.
To be honest, like all the cult lists (e.g; Death Guard, Thousand Sons), if you're doing it properly

e.g. fielding numbers according the sacred numbers of the respective God, that coupled with the high cost of the basic formations means that this is an inevitability.
To be honest, even when my World Eaters are finished, like the Emperoe's Children, Death Guard and Thousand Sons armies I will do, I won't use them as a standard tourney-type force (my regular CSM army, using either the Red Corsair or BL lists, will be for that). rather, I will use them for 'fun' gaming, or more likely as allies to my other Chaos armies.
So, I don't know what - if any difference - my ramblings will have on the list, but as someone who wants to be able to field an Epic World Eaters army (someday, when it's finished!), I hope my comments have been useful in some small way.
