Done with the games for Abandonia. 60 titles in 106 MB is a lot.

Some minor work done on the miniatures. Not much, but the helmeted Sister finally has the icon sculpted right and some extra job has been done on the bit-marine's torso, fleshing it out a little.

I'm going to spend next few days playing the good ol' Space Hulk. "We are their doom..."

must be something in the air - I broke down last Fri and bought a new digi cam too

Spooky! I am looking at a new cam too. A dealer will give me a 50% students discount on an Olympus E1 digital SLR cam. I am VERY tempted!

Hmmm. Warmaster, I've heard rumors that tanks in that game have about 100% first hit accuracy from the move and that Shermans bag King Tigers (from the front, no less) if they get to shoot first. I've also heard that infantry dies when you stare at them angrily. Is that true?

Haven't handled King Tigers yet so I wouldn't know. There is some issues with armour penetration but I have expeienced AT guns with absolutely no effect on my tanks.
Infantry is very fragile unless you ad a medic to the formation. However once this is done their survivability is greatly increased. What I really like about the game is that it focusses a lot on combined arms. Terrain imitation is great too: You'll quickly find yourself in a lot of trouble if you drive your tanks into urban areas without a lot of infantry support.
Also you have to pick your forces before each mission and lay dowb your general strategy which is a great improvement over the usual "Command&Conquer" "buld and shoot" stuff.
Sure it has it's flaws but so far I've found it very entertaining.

Cheers! :)

Just heard the word on how my story on the english exams has been rated. 15 points out of 18 max - not bad. The worst were some grammar mistakes, though. My ex-english teacher looks forward to reading the full version of it.

I must say I particularly enjoyed one paragraph I wrote for this version specially:
But somwhere out there, under black sands of the dead world, restsan army out of time... waiting for the time to awaken...

That time has just come...

Looking good, kr00za, lookin' real good. Who's up for a game of GorkaMorka, then? :)

I've just about finished my Grey Knight Strike Cruiser, the Blade of Purity, and should have pics up later (need to do icons on the little wing shields).

Hi,

Having picked up a rather vicious ear infection two days ago, I've not got a lot done beyond a single Warhound Titan. Well, that and moan a lot. :(

To make matters worse, I had to go to the dentist today for my annual check-up and wasn't a happy-bunny by the end (all good though, just lots of painful jaw-to-ear pain and a taste of blood in my mouth for the next few hours).

On the Epic front, I have a second Warhound and a dreadnought to complete and some marine troop stands to finish basing. Hopefully I shall be finished by the weekend and have some pics up.

Cheers,
Freshmetal

Great Trukk, Kr00za ! I'm working on my IG C-pack and my Ork C-pack should be here this week. ?Still have 2 Mobs of E40K Ork B/Wagons WIP on my "bench" ! I'm going to see a Specialist on Weds. to see if I can be "cured" after being on antibiotics for over 9 weeks ! :o ?And then Monday to the dentist ! :o ?It would be nice to be healthy again ! :O ?But on the "good" side ... I'm continuing to work out and have lost 46 lbs since Sep. ! ?Any of us who have strong faith, I'd appreciate your prayers as the only Doctors I would like to see are on T.V. ! Need all the "Air Support" I could get ! :;): ? Thanks ! :)

Here's a quick pic of the cruisers I painted yesterday. I forgot to turn off the flash so the pics are pretty overexposed. It particularly shows on the prows. Sorry about that.

Cheers!  :)

They're cool, Warmaster Nice, though the one closest to the camera is suffering from being in the warp - its decks are changing position so the windows aren't straight any more! :p

Grey Knight Strike Cruiser is complete (bar repainting the sword on the shield on the right of the model), and pics are in the Dry Dock.
