Well here goes nothing.
Will probably turn out I'm posting in the wrong place, but I might as well start.
I'll be aiming to get 500 points of the Eldar Nemusa Incursion army done each month, for four months from today. And an objective per month. ;D

Trouble is I first have to define the Nemusa Incursion Army!
It's derived from the Yme-Loc list v1.5. I wanted something slightly different to suit my needs, hence the changes, which include one formation from a different list, and remove several options. Even the types of Aspect Warrior are limited - all this reflects some sort of disaster which has befallen the Nemusa Craftworld and which I still have to come up with.

Had to go this way because with my attention span and smallish range of currently located (after the house move) models and the usual lack of time, I had to devise a force which included loads of vehicles AND Eldar Knights.
And then for the heck of it I introduced a new vehicle based on a conversion I am making.
Ah well, discipline was never my forte...... :-\

It all sounds promising - good luck pulling it all together. What's first on the modelling table?

I'm always keen on seeing Epic conversions - what's the plan for your mysterious vehicle?!

Thanks guys.
The 'mysterious conversion' is actually a very small model with a very simple change: it's a Farseer Falcon.
The new vehicle I mentioned is just a weapon swap (I confused the two!), and needs bits from antique models. It will be a transport with slightly higher armour than you usually get in Eldar, but without any fancy shields and light weaponry - a stop gap measure, in fact, based on an antique design having a hull designed to protect its occupants by means of armour, and believed to have been developed when the Eldar had faced threats against which holofields were ineffective - for example, volcanic rock thrown randomly by eruption ignored holofields, since the stuff is not aimed!

EDIT list added.

Good luck. Depending on the votes I might be painting Eldar too. May the better craftworld win!

Stone Crab, eh? I dunno, maybe Terrapin might be better? Or, to stay with silly College mascots for $200, Alex, what is a Thundering Herd?

I look forward to seeing your Craftworld Kights! This sounds like it might be a good match for the Yme-Loc Craftworld too...

Stonecrab the name of a good restaurant/pizza place in Xlendi*, Gozo ;) ;D If I paint their telephone number and address large enough to be legible on the Stonecrabs I might get a sponsorship in the shape of pizza. :P

*Another good name for an alien world.....the 'x' is pronounced 'sh' in Maltese.

Bit more fluff: the Nemusa craftworld first got blockaded by an Imperial fleet - ineffectively, thanks to the webway portals; preparing to resist invasion, the Eldar were surprised when the Imperials dispersed without attacking. Trouble is, they had been recalled to fight off a new Tyranid splinter fleet which coincidentally slammed right into Nemusa. Thanks to the aborted Imperial invasion the Nemusae were luckier than their Iyanden cousins, and although they suffered massive damage to their Craftworld, the bulk of the population survived, thanks to judicious use of Webway portals and the increased military standing triggered by the Imperials. It's an ill wind...
Trouble is that seeing the Craftworld weakened by the failed Tyranid invasion, the Dark Eldar decided to launch their own massive raid. The Nemusae, by now severely - ah - annoyed by the repeated targeting of their home by different races in turn, survived again.
A solitary Ork hulk appeared next, and this was taken care of by opening a portal within the hulk and landing the only remaining force that could seriously tie up the Orks, who are crazy, but not as insane as the Nemusae who placed 1 Warlock, 2 Phantom and 6 Revenant titans on the Hulk's upper surface! The larger titans scrapped the Hulk surface whilst the Revenants blasted their way inwards to locate and destroy the craft's engines. They were successful, but disaster struck when the surviving titans attempted to return to Nemusa - as soon as the lead Warlock emerged at Nemusa, the gateway flickered, turned black and disappeared. The other Titans were lost, destroyed by the explosion or transported to some remote place in the Universe and cut off from their Craftworld.
The Craftworld titan forces, already severely depleted by the previous wars, were now down to a mere two Warlocks, the sole survivor of the Hulk battle and a second Warlock which had been too badly damaged by massed Dark Eldar lancefire to take part in this battle.

The Nemusae, still strong in numer but lacking resources, resorted to using obsolete or specialist vehicles alongside surviving armour until their forces were rebuilt. In bad need of replenishment of resources, and in search of the legendary Xlendi Tree (there, I've used Xlendi :) ), the Eldar deployed their entire fleet to propel their entire Craftworld using tractor beams. This of course meant that the fleet could not afford to support land battles, and use of orbital ships was consequently dropped from the list. The Nemusa incursion was on, and a very angry army are about to get painted.

OK, for the first month, the first Warhost:
Swords of Vaul Warhost, 1 Farseer + 7 Falcons 350 points
Spirit Warrior Host, in support 350 points

I'll add the 150 point Gate of Vaul as my objective marker for this month (although strictly speaking that's another 150 points!)
So 15 models for month 1 - even I should manage that.

By the way, the Wraithlords are there in large numbers due to the sacrifice of the majority of aspect warriors in saving the population of Nemusa from slavery by the Dark Eldar. Most of the Exarchs and all Autarchs died saving the Nemusae, and their spirit stones were placed in all available Wraithlords. All aspects except for the Striking Scorpions and Warp Spiders suffered immense losses, and the few remaining exarchs are rebuilding the temples and guiding newcomers on these paths. Only the Scorpions and Spiders are fielded with the Incursion army at present.

Since the Wraithlords house exarchs and autarchs who were killed in combat with the Dark Eldar, they have requested the Farseers of Nemusa to colour their armoured bodies blue and purple, the colour of their hated enemies, until the time they avenge their deaths at the hands of their enemies; only then wll they bear the colours of their homeworld again.

Wahey, I managed to start working on the Eldar - and even added the free Avatar to the pot :)
So, currently:
Basecoating 6 wraithlords and 7 Falcons
Warlock Falcon conversion (simpler than originally planned) completed
Wraithgate in progress.
