Hey everyone,
I just came across this on eBay, it is the BIGGEST lot for Epic I have EVER seen. Take a look:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....ry=7389
I bet some people would love to get their hands on it! But with a $200 shipping fee, would probably be out of most peoples grasp!
Good luck bidding if anyone plans to.
Cheers
Chris

Just out of curiosity, did anyone around here buy it? The only person I think crazy enough to buy all that stuff is probably Primarch....but with postage it's $2200! Not even my entire collection is worth that!
Cheers

Actually Signius bought a lot worth something like $3,000.00 USD plus! ... PLUS!
I saw it in his garage (numerous FULL plastic storage tubs!) when I visited him earlier this year. He may even outnumber Primarch!
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Actually I bought it. I am hoping to turn it into some smaller sets and resell most of it (less the things I want for myself)
Hopefully I make a few bucks on it.

Cool, nice one.
Will you be selling any bits on here, or keep it all on eBay?
Cheers

I usually keep to Ebay for the most part. I feel it is better due to the fact that people pay what they wish for items. I do not like trying to put price tags on things, then get complaints when I am to high and get robbed blind when I sell at to low a price. Hopefully that makes sense.
Anyway hopefully its a worthwhile collection.
Also while im posting, I wanted to ask a quick question.
I have 2 squat colossus, 3 warhounds, and 3 phantom titans all missing bitz. (small guns for colossus, 0-ring for warhounds, and feet for phantoms) Is it illegal to cast your own bitz to replace the missing ones? I plan to make a mold and use resin to cast them, but I don't need any lawsuits if I turn around and sell them.

If you only use them for yourself, you should not have a problem ... and may of those bitz you mentioned are available from G/W US MO ... or ask ... maybe someone here may have extras !

Hi!
Be very careful chaosorc. Like L4 said, for your own private use, fine, but I'd be very sparce on posting this kind of thing on the net.

Hi!
Just out of curiosity, did anyone around here buy it? The only person I think crazy enough to buy all that stuff is probably Primarch....but with postage it's $2200! Not even my entire collection is worth that!
|
Yes, I'm crazy enough, and no I did not buy it. I consider that for the price, there is very "little" invloved in such a deal to make it worth my while.
That can't be posssible...can it? Primarch won't be happy...
|
Well, its time for me to "settle" once and for all that no has or will ever have more than me. I routinely make order for several thousands of dollars when the right deal comes around. This is my latest deal for a massive expansion of my Imperial Guard:
3 assault companies
3 gorgon assult companies
4 hellbore companies
4 mole companies
8 tactical companies
2 heavy companies
3 rough rider companies
8 tarantula detachments
8 rapier detachments
4 beastmen companies
3 landspeeder detachments
2 vindicator companies
2 predator companies
10 chimera detachments
3 capitol imperialis
2 knight companies
2 castellan detachments
2 custodian detachments
2 knight errant companies
2 lancer companies
2 knight barons
9 ordinati
45 assault stands (225 pieces), 6 command stands (30 pieces), 3 command chimeras
45 assault stands (225 pieces), 6 command stands (30 pieces), 3 command gorgons
75 tactical stands (375 pieces), 10 command stands (50 pieces), 5 command gorgons
120 tactical stands (600 pieces), 10 command stands (50 pieces), 4 hellbores
120 tactical stands (600 pieces), 10 command stands (50 pieces), 12 moles, 4 command termites
240 tactical stands (1200 pieces), 16 command stands (80 pieces), 8 command chimeras
30 heavy weapons stands (150 pieces), 4 command stands (20 pieces), 2 command chimeras
90 roughrider stands (180 pieces), 6 command roughrider stands
40 tarantula models
24 rapier models
120 beastman stands (600 pieces), 8 command stands (40 pieces), 4 command chimeras
15 landspeeder models
20 vindicator models
30 chimera models
3 capitol imperialis models
6 castellan models
6 custodian models
12 paladin models, 2 command paladins
12 errant models, 2 command errants
12 lancer models, 2 command lancers
2 baron models
3 armageddon, 3 mars and 3 golgotha ordinati
So in total there are over 1000 troop stands and assorted bigger vehicles and knights which go for top dollar on ebay. This does not include a smaller installment of IG stuff receive prior to this list that markedly expands tanks and artillery.
This is about triple the amount of the stands available in the "large" e-bay order and amount of vehicles and "premium" items like CI's and such are in good quantities too.
Now....and here's the kicker.....this whole lot is.........
...PAINTED. Yes, you heard right painted.
How much you say? 2,400 dollars.
This is what I call a "primarch deal"....

One thing though, Signius, bar none has the largest space marine army, over 200k in net epic points (probably around 300k now). But, my combined collection places me close to 650k.
If that weren't enough I have 2 orders, one for SM and one for tyranids of equal magnitud for 2004.
I'm well on my way for those 1 million epic points, ETA...2005.
So I hope this puts to rest all futile attempts to challenge the "primarch load".....
