I played my first game of Minigeddon this Easter. Now I plan to make my game club learn about the beauty that is Epic:Armageddon. My plan is to build up some sample armies to demo the game and to run a minigeddon tournament later in the year.

I have several armies already geared for 3000 point games (in various stages of completion), but since that would have been a boring place to start I decided to kick this project off with a completely new army (sort of a motivator to get me pumped for the prospect of painting hundreds of miniatures ).

Now the first Army is done:






Please excuse my poor photography skills. Love the Onslaught Miniature OTC miniature line. They paint up real well and will look fantastic on the battlefield.

So where do I go from here?
Either I finish my squats or my Night Lords (I use Black Legion rules) or why not start another new army?
I made a list of 17 army lists that I could see myself making. Hang around and see how many I will be able to finish in 2016 (my bet is on 6 ).

Nice to hear you are trying to spread the love for Epic. I have the same plan, but the club is in the middle of renovations so it will have to wait a little longer before I can get anything up and running.

Second army is now done.

Squats
The way I see squats, they are the classic worker bees of society. Their life is spent in the mines toiling away but when the enemy threatens the workers doesn't hesitate to put their mining equipment to a more violent use.
With this in mind I've chosen a "hazard orange" colour for my paint scheme.










Night lords will probably follow fairly shortly, All that's left is the (in my opinion) boring part, basing.
And after that most likely Necrons.

I thought of hexagonal bolt heads, and figured it would fit perfectly with squats.
I have access to a 3D printer so they are done in PLA, with inserts for the infantry base.
I've even made elongated hexes for use with the bikes, they too have slots for the bike base.
