Yep that definately sounds like we have a reason to playtest this method of playing...
It would be great to see that

Hmmm....there may be another way, albeit not as fancy as a live webcam, to do this, using before and after pics using a digital camera. Using that method, I could host a game, if it didnt last too long. We would need some kind of time limit on your move, to keep from bogging the game down. Say 24hrs limit? Then play passes to the opposing side. What do you think?
Course, I only have access to IG, some SM, Nids, Orks, and some Eldar. Not nearly the selection our Primarch has.

Quote (darkone26 @ 09 2005 June,16:18) | I had thought of the idea myself but when the opponents are on the other side of the world then you may have the problem of work and say family. ? | Not to mention 10 hour time zone differences!

What I meant was to use a 'clock' sort of. Say the next move went to Tas, then I would send an email to Tas letting him know what happened last move and that he was 'on the clock' at a particular time. If he didnt respond within the set time limit, play would revert to his opponent. It would suck, yes, to lose a turn, but not necessarily a game-breaker.

I think that this idea might actually work too well, with more people wanting to play than there are available hosts (I am certainly in, as well). We could just use a single thread here to post pictures of the game in progress and ask questions, to keep everything view-able to both sides.
