Welcome anzacmaniac to the forums.

I like the pictures I have seen of your stuff. Looks like you are headed into some great terrain.

Huzzah!  Welcome!  and such.   Watch out for those pesky Feral Orks, they lurk about here, in the dark corners.  :p

Oh, If you need some Off. Feral Ork variant, I can send you some.  Works as a degreaser too!  :p

my 2cents,

Thanks for the welcome Maksim-Smelchak.

Which set(s) tickle you fancy the most?

At the moment I am working on a huge (well epic huge 6cm x5.5cm est) sanbag bunker with overhead protection. Won't be finished for a week or two but it is IMO looking pretty sweeet (If I do say so myself). It will fit 3 long stands or 4 square ones.

I know the feeling of waiting for the next paycheck for something you want. I am itching to buy a new AGP for my computer so I can play Dawn of War. Oh the wait, it pains. :{

I like all of them.

I want to build a battefield fortifications map next with hills at either end and a WWI trench warfare feel for it.

Wasn't it Cadians that came from that background?

Or was it Mordians?

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Krieg siege troops, actually. Their 500 year civil war was all about trenches.

As a side note: who on his right mind would name a planet "Krieg"?  Or Armageddon for that matter... :oo

GW named the planets, but their state of mind can be questioned. :p

Good news- I got my stuff from natho today.

Very nice, the resin is very crisp with no brittle edges.  The molding are lovely with almost zero flash.

There are numerous little details which were not evident in the Ebay photos.  These include ammo boxes, walls and ebams along the sandbags walls and that sort of little details that go along way to making the miniature.

Dafrca- The bombardment template are a little larger than a Reaver/Warlord bases, but not by much and they would make fantastic Titan bases.

I'm try and post some pics soon, but my camera isnt too good on the closeups so they wont do too much justice to the lovely details.  Trust me, they are very nice indeed

Overall I am VERY impressed and think they are great value for money.  I'll be buying more and putting my suggestions in to Natho for further line expansion.

Best wishes,
Tas

Good to hear, thanks. FYI I have a book on order from osprey about the German Sigfried line. I intend (way longer down the track, 6 months ish) to make some absolutely enormous permanent fortifications based on this and the French Maginot Line. Sounds like it would work perfectly. If you can wait that long !!!!!

From memory the Mordians had a huge chaos seige on their hands that made them famous. A huge defensive battle progressively withdrawing from fortification to fortification which lead to a huge battle at the Imperial Governors Palace.

Anzacmaniac.
