Nick's unbeaten run continued with a turn 3 win against Carlos's previously unbeaten Tyranids last night. Bringing the good guys back to within a meagre 40 points.

Having started late, we made do with what time we had left, my Necron force faced Gavin's brave Marines. In first turn as a result of keen eye of an ace Thunderbolt pilot and Emperor's blessing the freshly teleported Pylon disintegrated in a ball of eldritch fire. We managed to get to the second turn and had to conclude.
We have agreed to call it a draw, in this case Emperor's Tarot card with sword and scales didn't mean justice(:

Top of the table clash ends with a draw in Nick's favour. Great game from Nick, with my dice betraying me and failing to activate for 4 of my 6 assaults (including 2 in a row on his bts) in the first 2 turns!!!!!

It was outrageous, I decided not to use any dice which had rolled a 1 at the end of turn 1. Halfway through turn 2 I was out of dice. The wraithguard unit which killed a Reaver against Alan drew a round of combat with an infantry company (who were not in bunkers). Only the warp spiders didn't screw up. They killed/broke the heavy tanks, light tanks, rough riders, and aa guns.

Not much to say about the game, other then my own incompetence leading to the Aonic Orb not doing anything other then dying. And the rest was good manoeuvring by Alan's Titans and really a crap ton of 1s on my side.
