I was working on this next one last night, and by the time I stopped for a break I realized it was 3 AM...
Working out a plan for how it will be printed and cast was a little tricky, but I think I've worked it out. Not sure yet how much it will cost, however. This one might end up shelved for a while if demand doesn't match the price for printing.

Simple mockups for an Epic base and Rhino, for scale. The footprint is the same as a Medium building (80x80 mm). I think I've got it down to two main pieces, plus the pipes which will need to be done separately and would come on their own sprue. Might go back and tone it down with the skulls a bit - this may be too much even for me
I was inspired by a model from the Cities of Death book that some of you might remember. The indentation on top is sized to hold a 25mm base so you can use whatever suitably impressive 40k-sized figure you want as the statue.
I have one of these guys in my bits box just waiting to be painted up in bronze:

@moredakka: It seems we think alike! Right now I finished the render with the standard Parapet roof. Once I figure out a plan for the tower guns, I thought I might do up a new roof with an integral mounting point and crew hatches, ammo lifts, etc.
@Nitpick: I've been on a bit of a grimdark design kick recently, but I do have plans for more industrial or high tech looking stuff. Unfortunately it's not quite at the stage where I'm happy with it and can show it off. I want to do some structures like the kind found in foundries or refineries, but I'm grappling with the best way to represent such spindly, open and detailed structures while still making it castable. Gothic stuff is easier - just add more skulls!
@Malika2: I have, but for now I want to flesh out the epic-scale range a bit first. It is part of the plan, however - the market for 40k or Warmachine terrain is much larger than the one for 6-10mm. The biggest problem is that since the cost of printing is based on volume, an object gets exponentially more expensive to print as you scale it up. Not insurmountable, I just haven't figured out the best way to surmount is yet
Thanks guys!
