Hi!

That picture makes you kind of wonder how big a true scale Imperator would be. :)

Thank you for the comparison! I'll echo what was already said, it really is friggen' huge!

On one hand, I love them, I mean I really, really love them and would definitely consider one (and a smaller cousin if one appears in future *hint*) for Chaos titans, but I don't know if I could stand to replace or add to the reaver and beetleback companies I already have. They definitely don't scale well with the older stuff, and that's a shame as those weapons would look superb retrofitted onto older chassis - if they were just a tiny bit smaller - I guess they're better alongside the FW reaver and warhound?

I'll put up a picture of this one alongside the SWR and MWR as it fits in well with these.

40K imperial knight model size sounds about right to me. ;)

Yeah, I was loving the look during the design process - but when I realised it was almost twice as tall as my other warlords I just didn't was the discrepancy. I also agree the head lets the design down somewhat.

I did suggest the E&C that he either printed a "false scale" version for us old schoolers or perhaps an imperator conversion kit for the current one. By the look of the last pick the 2nd option would work really well.

The cats out of the bag :) inspired by a project elsewhere on these pages i will be doing an imperator conversion of the plastic 40K knight sometime to go alongside my legio mortis battlegroup.

Look out for this one during the new year. :)

Ok so here we have Ben's new machine next to some true scale titans.

And a battlegroup to date shot to. Now i have a base finish i'm happy with these others can have their temporary base paint jobs re-done to match.

They look absolutely superb. Individually they're all great, but together they're definite inspiration material.
