In the meantime, the EPICentre has an online gallery now. So we can start to show off the pride of the EPIC communities miniatures.

do you have a direct link, as I can't find the gallery???

NP, let me know what you think :), I am just adding content now.

Chris has said that he will take control of the De'Aynes back once it has been populated initiatially. Then he will be maintaining it.

Just letting you know, changing the EZine to a .PDF format massively increased it's popularity... in one night issue 10 was downloaded 65 times and that is not even a complete day!

Hey hey everyone,

The pdf idea is a great one, I only ever download stuff in pdf, I seem to trust it more than word, as it is a sealed file.

As for the galleries - a question to Tom, is this automated gallery looking thingy a REPLACEMENT for the current De'Aynes that I spen some time getting the layout right for, and what I am doing the next update in???

Cheers

Chris

I know exactly what you mean matey! PDFs are much more secure.

As for the galleries, they are a secure, automated way of loading the pictures. Whilst a manual way is great, the galleries can not only be customised and easily modified but you don't need HTML knowledge and we can process the backlog a lot faster.

We have over 1000 pictures ready for import, doing that manually would be a nightmare. Just trying to help out ;). Means we can get the galleries up and running ASAP, and that you can deal with the rush of submissions I am sure will be coming your way... especially as I-Kore has an artist working with the EPICentre.

Last thing I want is for you to feel put out, but the galleries have had no progress so far and I am just trying to help.

Ok mate, I see where you are coming from. Together we can try and make the gallery one of the best ever.

Cheers

Chris
