I am working on a solar farm for my KR 16 games and had close to an epiphany.
A great way to make realistic looking solar arrays.

Here is the WIP:

Then the thought occurred to me.
Would others be interested in buying them?

They are 20mm x 25mm and 1mm thick steel.
There will be resin supports at the back (when made); currently plasticine is holding them in position.
They will come with the solar panel artwork attached.

If they were about 60p each would you be tempted?

Quite possibly. Anything to vary the usual gothic building type terrain.
And following on from the discussion in the Battlescene thread, these could sit on top of buildings (though it would affect model placement)!

Cool !! And yes, something that isn't Gothic is very welcomed !

I have quickly made a newer variant.

This I think is better?

Hi!

I kind of like the bigger cells than the smaller ones, although a mix would be fine too.

At 60p thats a bargain! I'm liking these too. I agree with Primarch, the larger ones would work better in all scales from 6mm up to 28mm. Good work :)

Actually seeing as the graphics are printed and then stuck to the steel sheet I can offer both sizes...

At 60p each I'd be buying them in bulk for SCP and reselling them for £1 :D.

Are you sure about your prices?

I'd definitely buy a set at 0.60 pence each!

75p at the very most I would think.
That is currently 60p for 1 solar bit, IE the panels and the the stand/support.

Not all 5 pieces shown there.

The solar panel sticker is a bit wonky, but I just wanted to test the support was ok.
