Cool.

The mould has come out OK, just need to wait for it to be ready to cast from and hey presto.
Packs of 5 Ork Junker tents.

;D

Next up, a very simple barricade.
So simple you could make them yourself.

Though possibly more hassle than it is worth if you want lots of them.
Then you would be better off buying some that are all identical and ready cast.

;)

10 days or so.
Not too sure on price until mould is done but likely to be about £2.00 for a pack of 3, will confirm asap.

Cheers, they are not ground breaking in terms of design.
But they are I feel functional...

Prototype Flexible Sci-fi Roads

Yes, when you need to travel around on a new colony world and you don’t have the time to make a permanent road the traditional way, make a temporary road instead!
Besides permanent roads are so expensive and so last century…

So, why take the highway when you can take the Hexway©

Right then, this is the first from the mould and it does have some minor air bubbles.
Normally I would not be happy to sell them with bubbles.
However, they are minor and given the road is meant as a temporary surface it could be just how the roads go after a bit?

I will do some more test castings and see how those turn out and then paint some up.
I am hopeful that once painted the small amount of bubbles will be acceptable.

Stay tuned…

exactly, and that's what we need.

The road looks good and the bubble holes are ok for me. Aren't they full of holes even nowadays :P
Im not sure that I like the hex pattern though. Sure it looks futuristic. What are the measurements on that piece, or the pieces you are intending to cast? Will you be selling those in sets including junctions and such? I will need quite a many sets.

150mm long.
The hex pattern is 25mm with a 4mm kerb on each side, making the roads 33mm wide in total.

I will be releasing junctions and so on too.

I was just testing how these came out before getting too carried way.
I am liking them though.
