It looks like we will have 13-14 people showing. Definitely bring terrain as we can only cover 5 tables tops and it would be good to have a variety. We need at least two more mats and terrain for 3 - 4 boards to help supplement the others.

Squats 2019-10-17

Okay... Friday it looks like you guys will be coming up around 6:30pm or so. I will try to be down there by 6pm so that I can greet you properly. The area has weird streets so just be on the look out - the store is in a semi-industrial area and you cannot see it from the road. There is a big sign pointing to the shops. You will know you are there if the road has about 25,000 railroad tracks cutting across the intersection (slight exaggeration).

Sunday morning we will be able to play around 10:30am, maybe earlier if we bring the store owner beer.

The place has a ton of Dystopian Wars minis for sale, so if you like the game it would be good to buy some of his wares.

I'd like to get at least some of the terrain set up Friday night so we don't have to muck with it on Saturday morning.

Somebody please remind Chris that 'painting your miniatures' is not a euphemism for donning a condom. It made the last tournament a little uncomfortable for the younger players (albeit it did prevent the spread of some lesser known diseases).

Ron, your real tank brings your army over the 1/3 war engine allotment and will not be allowed.

Pat W. has still not returned the Epic trophy so we may need to do without. I'd get on him about it but he's been going through a lot of family problems.

Coming up on the not-so-big tourney. We had some people drop out due to sheer cowardice (or work, whatever), but the ones that will be showing up will be in for a treat...

The Epic Trophy has returned. Pat shipped it to me and it has arrived virtually unscathed. The golden grot was damaged so he'll need replacing, but beyond that it is looking good.

Friday they are willing to stay open after their 9pm closing time for us.

Saturday they will open the doors for set-up at 8:45am. The earlier we start the better I say.

Sunday is up in the air as they typically open around 10am, but they are willing to get there earlier because of my awesomeness.

Right now we have 9 to 10. The tenth would be a newbie that Stuttering Dave is bringing. I'm trying to get Steve aka ePilgrim to show like he promised but he's cleverly avoiding answering my calls for that plausible deniability call on Monday... "Oh man! That was this past Saturday? Ugh, I wish you woulda called me cuz I totally woulda been there.... You DID?!"

If cargo space were no issue, I'd probably bring Ad Mech (IG), Knights, Inquisition and Squats. I'm probably going to limit it to Ad Mech and Inquisition.

I'm disappointed in the midatlantic epic scene. One of these has GOT to surpass NEAT attendance or Dave will make the rest of Adeptus Ineptus address him as "Dave, master of the premier E:A event on the east coast"

Final attendance was 10 players for Games 1 & 3, and 12 players for Game 2. Dwarf Supreme and I played with Stuttering Dave and a new pup named Josh in a 4000 point game.

The results for the day were dead even for the Epic Trophy fight. However, we decided to allow the trophy to go to Team Adeptus Ineptus despite their inability to pull ahead.
