... with the 600 for a new thing is it the same cost for a new vehicle too?

Yep. So instead of one type of Alien Vehicle, there could be two, but it'd cost £600 (which means more like £1000 of pre-orders, of course, as we have to account for postage costs, etc.).
I'd view other infantry types as a priority right now?

What do others think of the unlocking the metal vehicle add-ons now to boost pledges?

I'm running some numbers in me head. Unlocking each type would push back the main goal a couple of hundred quid, so it'd have to be a popular unit type.
Am thinking of doing perhaps combined pairs in the moulds.
For example the "AA Tanks" pair set would come with 3 Advanced Sprues (12 vehicles total), 2 bases sprues, and 6 metal Alien AA guns, and 6 metal Human AA guns.
That make sense? It'd double bang for buck.

Any chance we can do both? (i.e. unlock the separate metals and post up the add-ons as a target?)

I think holding off on metal stretches at the moment is the primary demand, so that we get the bases off the sprue (so everyone gets 20% more models for no extra cost).

If pledges slow down again then I'll consider it as a boosting measure(?), but right now the pledges are running fairly hot and we're closing on the separate bases fairly fast.

Ah, okay – I think I got a bit confused. To clarify, are these the options?

1) Sit and wait until the first stretch (£3500) is reached, which splits the sprue into bases and models. The next stretch goal is currently undecided?

2) Release the standalone metal vehicles as add-ons now to help reach the first stretch goal (which increases to £3700? £4000?), which splits the sprue into bases and models. The next stretch goal is currently undecided?

Is that right?

Whatever you decide you should post a celebratory update soon.

Yup, that's about right.
I've modified your post a little to clarify:

Quote:
1) Sit and wait until the first stretch (£3500) is reached, which splits the sprue into bases and models. The next stretch goal after that would be the metal tanks & bomber - I'd unlock them immediate but they wouldn't actually be funded until we hit £4000 (I'd be taking the risk that we don't make it to £4000 on myself). The next stretch goal after that is currently undecided.

2) Release the standalone metal vehicles as add-ons now to help reach the Advanced Plastic Sprue stretch goal (which increases to £4000), which splits the sprue into bases and models. The next stretch goal after that point is currently undecided.

Too right! it's been such a crazy 24 hours that I missed remarking upon it!

Could you not unlock say the tank at 3000 pounds and the bomber at 3500 pounds. You could still have them only funded at the 4000 pounds goal, but these would create other insentives for people to reach for along the way.

What do you/others here think.

Ah, cheers for the clarification.

I like moredakka's suggestion of more, smaller, goals. From looking at other Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaigns, having lots of goal stages helps boost the fund – and previews (like silhouettes) really get people champing at the bit.

+Edit+
To clarify, I like option 1 better. Once the sprue is split, I'd like smaller stretch goals run closer together.

I think option 1 while i might want more seperate bits i think splitting off the bases will be good for troublemaker and 6mm gaming.

While i don't need basic infantry, I really think it CRUCIAL to have those bases as a separate sprue. Or else any other infantry sprue coming later will have to include bases as well.

That's the kicker for me; the bases need to be separate in order to be future proofed, so that should be goal number 1.

Troublemaker Number 2 has spoken. :-)
For now, we let it roll onwards towards the Advanced Sprue goal at £3500.

Hi Folks,
first time posting but long time stalker here. I got very inspired by the effort of troublemaker and the community to bring back life into the Game. I was surprised and sad when i heared the news that Grandma Wendy stoped making our delicious sweets. :(
But that instantly changed with the crowdfunding campaign. Problem at the moment I don't have a lot of money. Not even for the panic buyout :(
So i figured i should contribute to this amazing project with the things I'am capable of. Made a small illustrtation that you all can use for promotion of the campaign.
Long story short - stuff! :

Everything font related is just a placeholder. Name or give me a font and i will update it. I can also upload the .PSD for you. Can also make more small illustrations or other kinds of promotional material.

I know its far from a good boxcover but it was also a fast piece. Hope you like it :)

Will it be possible to get those things presented in this kickstarter beside it? I don't have possibilities to contribute but money.
