The posts in those threads should have all the downloads links for rules etc. Also, additional materials such as MagnusIlluminus' excel spreadsheet -
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=24911&start=15 - would be very handy. I also think if we can make up decent video tutorials these should also go in the thread, after all, a video showing a new player how to play might be less intimidating than just leaving them to sift through the rulebooks.
Probably an idea also to make these threads non-postable except to admin, thereby keeping the thread "clean" and concise, with updates only when other helpful materials become available.
What do you think?
I also think that this is a very good idea.
I don't think that it's possible to prevent others from posting in threads though, this permission can be set for boards, but not for individual threads as far as I know. Just compiling the information, and then keeping the thread locked would, however, achieve the same effect.
