Jimbo can youimport a photoshop file into Indesign? It seems only to accept pagemaker files.

IN QuarkXpress the file formats preferred are .tiff for print and .jpg and .gif for web. You need to flatten any image with multiple layers and "save as" choosing one of the above formats. I don't know if it is the same with InDesign but i suspect so.

Hi!
Updating indesign gives me more filters to import photoshop files and I can work on them while in Indesign.
I have noticed that photoshop contains powerful graphics commands that Indesign doesn't have. So page creation is best done in photoshop and then imported as a template to work on in Indesign. The only real use at this juncture for Indesign is the writting and formatting of text and picture boxes that I can insert stuff later. The page backgrounds are much more easily done on photoshop.

Thanks mate.
Jan 26th is Australia Day, the anniversary of the First Fleet landing in vicinity of Sydney to establish the First Colony and thus founding of modern Australia.
Its our primary National Holiday like you guys (in the States) have July 4.
