Cool gate! How did you do the liquid surface effect?

The gate was a plasticard surface, then painted black with some flecks of grey through it, then i lay if flat, and painted PVA glue over it and let it dry, then painted ripples of PVA glue over it in 2 -3 more varying layers to create the ripple effect and as PVA dries clear with a water gloss effect that was the end result.

Its pretty much just a total Stargate rip off to be fair. lol

I'm sure you won't mind me ripping off that idea too, then I want me a gate of Vaul, too.
