Hi
I have nt played SM2 for years so my memory is a bit rusty.
What cards could you add to a Bad Moonz Company card?
I am wanting to paint up a small Bad Moonz contingent for my EA Ork army. In the absence of any Bad Moonz lists for EA I wanted to check what units they could take under SM2.
(So far i am contemplating a Bad Moonz mechanised warband with battlewagonz, gunwagonz, Wierdboy battletowers counting as Big Mek Oddboyz, Big Gunz mob and Stompa mob).
Hopefully one of you will be able to help me.
Thanks very much
James

The only support card I recall being restricted to Bad Moonz is the Weirdboy Tower. You could check NetEpic. I'm sure their cards are in line with the old SM2 amy construction rules.
Even though I don't remember a lot of official restrictions, a lot of the cards made sense to attach to Bad Moonz because of the default orders if they were out of command. I used to put the Braincrushas in the Moonz and just park them with a good field of fire so they would sit and First Fire (?) without needing to keep Nobz near them.
Edit: Also, I wrote a style guide for fielding a Bad Moon themed army in EA that was published in Fanatic. If you don't have a copy of it I can email it to you or post it.

Neal
If you have a copy of that Fanatic article, that would be brilliant.
Thanks very much

There are no Bad Moon only units in NetEpic except their boyz. Bad Moonz are the rich, shooty clan (more teef = bigger guns). So, the boys have more heavy weapons, and typically you do see things like Braincrushas and Soopa Gunz in BM forces a lot. The Dragsta is also a bit of a staple.

Thanks Zap- I'll make sure I add some Braincrushas to the list of units I posted earlier.
Cheers

Thanks Neal
Good to know that i was thinking along right lines. Had forgotten about extra Nobz though so that was useful.
Have your thoughts changed on the relative merits of Warband + extra Big Gunz vs a Big Gunz Mob?
Cheers

I generally find the warband-based gunzmob to be too expensive. The split of 30cm and 45cm range (and 60cm if you add Oddboyz) can make it a bit unwieldy.
My personal preference is a Big Gunzmob + 2 Nobz + 2 Oddboyz at 395 points. Even without the Mob Up bonuses it is reasonably durable. Or if I just want popcorn, I go with Gunzmob + Oddboy at 175.
