There's a lot of comp for this out there already - Future War Commander, Dirtside and others. What's your USP?

IMHO the most important thing you need is an interesting background / story. Rules without a good background are ... well, only rules. We currently already have a lot of different systems, reaching from steampunk to sci-fi and WWII. I think one of the most important things GW has done was creating a rich background (over the years), especially for WH40k.

So in order to get people interested you do not only need good minis and rules but also a interesting / fresh background. I'm sure there would be a market - however, keep in mind you also would have to do some kind of advertising unless you only want to address the guys here at the forums. That said: I would be interested to look at your rules ...

Total opposite for me, I am more interested in generic rule systems that I can use to play with miniatures from a range of other backgrounds with balanced lists. Don't know how well FWC manages this, but it costs £20 and is not 'available' online, so ill never know :)

FWC is pants though, but it is universal and has a community around it. I'd definitely would like a generic system I could use whatever mini I wanted (within reason!) for it.

Same for me. My gaming group is looking for another set of rules (we already play Epic 4ed) and another 6 mm wargaming "engine", which allows playing sci-fi or even 6mm WWII (we have Dystopian Wars on the list).

I find FWC, CWC and the like a very good engine for Ancients and Medieval (WMA), but utterly out of place for modern warfare.
