yep that's a recast imo
*edit, dunno about double mould lines, but looks to have been poorly cast in a gravity hand mould with cavities from air bubbles in it.

ya.. that's what i thought. worst part is who I bought it off of - Craftworld Games. Now thankfully it was on ebay, and not direct from them so I can return it. also when I talked to them about it, they said they haven't even looked closely at the model.....ya...

It looks like a recast IMHO.
I've seen quite a few a long time ago, I knew a guy who was doing recasts (and trying to sell them, at least "honestly", not pretending those were originals, back when I was in school. Funny how it looked similar in the general aspect (no sharp edges, shinier metal, etc...) 20 years ago.
I also happen to have all three ordinatus models (they're somewhere in the line of stuff to repaint), that I originally bought in a GW store, and the details are much sharper on the original (panel edges, etc). Sorry but this does really look like a counterfeit.

looks like a recast to me, and the thing that first caught my eye was the metal its mix looks far to shiney compared to the duller metals i get from GW products, maybe the ratio of tin etc is different ? could jsut be me, that aside all the other ofactors just point at a recast.

One thing you can do is contact GW and then send the model in and get them to confirm. They then give you the means to recoup your costs from paypal and they'll destroy the model.

To be fair if craftworld games were not aware it was a recast (if you consider a lot of OOP GW metal moves through them, would be easy to miss something) they will probably take it back and destroy it/report it to GW themselves. Didn't somebody get a bag of recast stuff from chaos orc a year ago or so on here? seem to remember they took it back and destroyed it.
