Dobbsy has asked to be included and has sent me his latest draft.

As to the "Apocrypha of Skaros", lists are added to the NetEA documents when the creators of said lists ask to be included, and those listed are then vetted by the Army Champion and, often, the NetERC. We don't just take people's lists and say, "Now you're part of the the NetEA!", since we don't know if they want to be part of the project or not. While the NetEA is a very freeform, open organization, there is still some control and oversight by the various head Champions and the NetERC; not everyone necessarily wants to be part of that, and we certainly aren't going to force them.

I'm planning on asking about v0.4. Right now I'm not convinced I have the point values where they should be. I want to get it to a point where I'm not second-guessing the values immediately after I upload them.

Salamanders units need datasheets of their own because most don`t only swap their weapons but also have different FF-values.

And didn`t we agree that the TwinLascannon&MissileLauncher Dreadnought shoul be dubbed "Hellfire Dreadnought" (as in the DoW game)?

Land Raide Prometheus doesn`t need a Character assinged to the unit to use the Prometheus special ability. Being in the same formationis enough.

I still fail to understand why the prometheus has far better commanding abilities than a chapter master.

Why does it need to be represented at all at this scale? Land Raider + Captain = Prometheus.

The Prometheus has better coordinating abilities than a Chapter Master. Which represents its comms gear and the like. Furthermore, it lets the Captain/Chapter Master command better. It doesn't replace them.

I'd say a command tank is more appropriate at Epic scale, not less.

Chroma a few changes to the BT,
Neophytes are two or four units for 75 or 150
Neophyte bikers are upto 4 and 35 points each
Emperor's Champion should be 50 points not 75,
sorry it took me some time to look at this alot of things are going on atm and thanks for all the hard work on this as well

Good layout, and thanks for all the work put into it. After a very quick skim:-

  • Drop pods, perhaps we can take this opportunity to explain that they have no physical presence on the table, and hence has no armour value etc?
  • Black Templars - Land Raider upgrades; should they be +75 each, especially as the cost for 4x is 350
  • White Scars - Terminators perhaps should be 600 points rather than 675 (even so they are likely to appear rarely)
  • Blood Angels seem to have no way to add the Stormraven upgrade, and the scouts also seem to have lost Razorbacks
  • Scions of Iron - Helios seems a tad over-priced at 475, suggest 400 would be more appropriate, especially in light of other lists

Also intruiged by the Storm Eagle and Storm Raven. With 4+ armour I suspect they may not fare well much like predators, and the Storm Raven missile 75cm range seems a tad OTT as well.

Just noticed inthe Salamanders 1.11 list that where the Supreme commander is purchased could be a bit confusing for new folks as it says

"Commander Add one Space Marine Commander character to a unit in the formation. The Commander may be a Captain, Librarian or Chaplain. +50 points
One Space Marine Commander in the army may be a Supreme Commander +100 points"

To me at least, the way it's written, it looks like you have to buy a normal character and upgrade it by paying +100 points.

Actually Salamanders Supreme Commander is supposed to cost only 75pts because of the redundand second Leader ability.

The NetEA docs clean that up showing each "Marine Commander" character as a distinct statline, there is no "redundand [sic] second Leader ability" for the Supreme Commander.

And Marine Supreme Commanders were never "paying" for that redundancy anyway, the "doubling" was simply an over sight, so it should be 100 points as standard.

Well Salamanders where always tested with a 75pts Supreme Commander. Hard to judge if 25pts are unbalancing in a 3000pts army :D
