...this does raise the related, but totally off topic question as to why Chaos Space Marine Drop Pods get Deathwind attacks?  They're specifically not allowed to have such things in Warhammer 40,000/the background. They're meant to use their Spacecraft for prep-bombardments...


It was written before there were 40K Dreadclaw stats.

I think that Dreadclaws had rules in 40k for at least a year before the BL list was made official... I think development had pretty much stopped by that point though.

I actually think I'd have to agree with this, at least when it comes to forum posts, Ben; you really seem to come off as adversarial not constructive, not sure why that is.  And, oddly, it only seems to be when you're discussing some one else's work.

In instant message chats you actually seem like a completely different person... one who is, almost, reasonable!   :laugh:

I would expect others to critique my work just as stringently as I critique the work of others.

I don't take it as a personal attack when someone tells me the AMTL Plasma Cannon (or whatever) is useless; I examine the issue again and if nessesary change my mind, or justify my position.


I'm just raising the question here as to whether the Forlorn drop pod army might suffer from similar issues as the Scout Drop army, yet Steve has clearly taken that as a statement from me that I concretely believe that the Forlorn drop army is an overpowered travesty, and has bounced on me with passive-agressive sarcasm and ad hominem attacks, as he does on every occasion that I put forward a critical comment about the Chaos army lists.


For the second time, I apologise for any offense I've caused you Steve, and for a second time I ask you to stop being so instantly aggressive and judgemental of me and my motivations as regards your favourite army list.
