The modular Fortress is an inspired idea, sounds like everyone is now going to do one, true genius.

At a glance there is no way you could tell your Landa apart from the original, brilliant skills

Hi,
It's a nice idea (Neal's), and I think can be implemented on wagons for instance as well.

Regarding scratching skills I would not get carried away, believe me it is just a box of plasticard that I glued strips to it on the side.
Next time I'll show step by step so you see how simple it is (ontrary to the truely amazing modelling done here by other people   ).

The miniature is from GW, their battlefortress one. The FW are battlewagons, but no reason why they can't be converted as well.

Anyways I'm painting it, and also the newly arrived Deth Koptas reinforcements.

Cheers,
Eyal.

The modular bit could work for wagons as well, but it might end up being too fiddly.  In particular, I could see the Flakwagon chassis being especially conducive to a modular insert - open for Battlewagon, gun platform for gunwagon, Zzap/Soopa platform, and a flak platform.

However, I think my Deth Skullz' "Jawa" fortresses are definitely going modular - stowage and cargo for Battleforts and gun bunkers for Gunforts.  Of course, they've been sitting in the box for more than a year without progress, so it's not likely that they'll be getting the star treatment any time soon...

Hi,
So I went and glued the fortress together, looked a bit fidly to me  :p

Some reinforcements have arrive, the bases will eventually get some grass, and maybe smoe drybrushing, but I'm waiting to finish them all.

Deth Koptas with some nasty orks, and the gun fortress got some color.

Maybe I should highlight everything with some orange?

What about flames? will yellow and red go thegether?

Thanks for watching,
Eyal

Lovely Ork minatures but my favourite are probably the Ork buildings. Very simple but very effective.

Cheers

James

Thanks guys :),
Yep it will take longer than I thought. Finished the commandos yesterday. Now I only have to finish 16 grots and 48 orcs boys stands...  :p

In any case I forgot to post the painted fortresses, so here goes, and I'm working on a brewery/refinery building.

Cheers,
Eyal.

Hi,
I would like first ask for some help, how do I attach pictures so that they'll open up with double clicking? I can't figure it out  :sulk:

No for the updat, I printed some flags on quality paper, hopefully to use with the orks, though I also printed for the tau, eldar and IG armies of my opponenets if they would like to use them.

And some advancement with my hordes, still have six * 8 stands to finish.
But I'm getting there :)..

Untill next time,
Thanks you for watching,
Eyal.

Great flags, where did you get them from?

Any more lurking around like Titan Legions or Chaos Space Marines.

Here you go:
http://wh40k.ei8ht.net/hangar-8_chaos.htm
Just save picture as... and paste them all on a power point page.
Very easy and very nice :).
All the best,
Eyal.
