I'd like to add some rivets, but since my normal method for that is using blobs of paint, I'm not really sure they'd survive the mould-making process and get stuck in the mould instead of on the model... :p

Confirmed, paint sticks in the silicon during mold making.

I'm a bit worried about the front piece though: Do you have any experience with 3 part moulds? Otherwise I think some disassembly may be required :;):

No, sorry. However, the halves of the mold do not have to be symmetric or lie in the same plane.

I'm going to use the same technique on this guy as I did on my Arma enclosures, where part of the mold runs along the edge of the more-detailed face. That way we don't get a mold line through the sensitive parts.

That having been said, if you wish to show mercy on me by doing some simple dissassembly of sub-parts, please do so.
